I think his voice sounds amazing. He has always worked to reach notes located beyond his vocal range and that is one of the things that makes his singing sound so emotionally wrought. I can scarcely believe how incredible he sounds. Thank you for posting!
are you getting paid to write that? otherwise, there is obviously something very wrong with your hearing. his voice is a smoking ruin...a hollow shell of itself, slowly strangled by his extreme addiction to nicotine and tobacco. i guess if you think that that is something that is amazing, well, i agree...it's amazing someone would so stupidly destroy such a majestical voice by indulging in such a disgusting habit.
I saw these back in the day, it is a shame Ian McCulloch ruined his voice from being a heavy smoker. He had great voice back then, totally effortless and a great variety of pitch.. Now it sounds like he has to shout to hit close to the note.
