  • Armenian National selections for JESC 2014 took place on 14th of September, where professional jury (50%) and SMS voting (50%) determined 11 years old Bettye as the winner to represent Armenia at JESC 2014 in Malta. Currently Betty's days are full of rehearseals, she takes lessons in voice and classes in dance.
    Betty’s first teacher in her elementary school is sharing how she met Betty for the very first time. She describes Betty as a very nice and interesting little girl, who made her first steps to school with a good mood and full of big expectations. Inspite of her busy days and routine, Betty has got brilliant behavior and manages to get the highest marks at school. According to her teacher Betty is a peaceful, kind and a friendly person who is keen on painting or making something up at her breaks.She always takes part in concerts, performances and events organized by her school.
    Betty’s favorite classes are History, Armenian and Russian languages. Besides them, she is interested in studies in Technologies, Fine arts and Musics. Betty pays a lot of attetion to languages and she mentions that at the moment she tries to learn a little bit of Maltese. She really hopes that she can use all her knowledge in languages in Malta and whats also important to her to have a chance to practice her Maltese. Betty got lots of hobbies such as handcrafting, origami and embroidery art.
    She shares her excitemtent when she heard that JESC 2014's team got inspired by the origamis to build up the stage . Betty tells, that she is going to hand origamis in the form of cranes to all of her future friends at JESC 2014.
    The diary also tells about Betty's success in TV industry, where she has been hosting different projects and shows. Betty loves interviewing various artists and musicians as they inspire her and she gets more and more motivated to keep on singing. Betty remembers how cheeky she was when as a kid by waking up, she would call her parents to tell them tales by singing.
    At the moment Betty is intensively taking classes in voice and her teacher is really proud and happy with Betty' achievements. They do much work together and her teacher hopes that Betty will be able to overcome her excitemement on the stage as she is such a littly brave girl.
    Yerevan and Armenia in general are Betti's favourite places in the whole world.
    Besides going to shcool, taking classes in voice and thousands of rehearlseals, Betty is busy taking part in different projects, concerts and social activities. Recently she took part in the event to help animals to find their owners. She enjoyed it a lot and made new friends with a monkey called Mimi. They had much fun together by rolling over the grass and enjoying each others company.
    Besides Betty, Monika Avetisyan (representing Armenia last year at JESC ) and Compass band (representing Armenia in 2011) also particiapted in the event and had a chance to share their experience with Betty.
    Furthermore she took part in the concert dedicated to celebration of Erebuni-Yerevans's foundation and Yerevans's 2796 Anniversary. During the concert Betty perforemed her song “People of the sun” alongside with 40 dancers. She got friends with all of them and now as she says she has 40 more firends than before.
    She was very happy to meet Aram MP3 at the concert, who by putting his hand on Betty’s head gave all his luck and victory to her, as to Betty geting the 4th place in such a strong competition as adult Eurovison Song Contest is a real victory.
