I make lipgloss for the fun of it. Please make sure the pigments are lip safe before doing this. Not all pigments are lip safe, or FDA approved in the US for lip use.

Not everyone is sensitive to eye shadow pigment, sure, but when it reaches such a large amount of people there’s bound to be someone who might have a dangerous reaction. I’ve been doing this for years. When I have a dance performance on stage and my costume is a unique color, I do this to match my lipstick to my outfit. This also comes in handy when you run out of your fav lipgloss, etc. 💋 Just make sure you’re sanitary and use new eyeshadows to mix with NEW clear glosses. The bacteria from used makeup can cause irritation, or worse.

Problem is it affects the integrity of the gloss. The preservatives and chemical balance of it is disrupted since the eyeshadow isn't exactly clean. So mold can appear, not to mention it's not going to mix well after settling for a bit
