They didn't 'only care about him when he died' he was very well known in the Minecraft community for a long time and his unfortunate passing only caused more people to know about him, even outside of Minecraft

Dream SMP is so weird in the sense that no other SMP has had such division between it's members that I'm aware of, everyone is either remembered as a saint or a bastard, incredible when you think of it

The thing is, Technoblade was the only man holding everyone together. Just think of everything that happened after the man passed. DSMP died off, Wilbur’s allegations, Dream and Tommy drama, hell broke lose.

Absolutely agree. Although I do also love Awesamdude, and I am a fan George and Sapnap just because I watch Dream. But overall, Techo earned everything he had and more. What a legend.
