Started with a Monk, and played to level 5. Realized this was a difficult game, and I wanted a ranged build to get some distance between myself and mobs while I learned the mechanics. I assumed that casters would be more glass cannon. I wonder how many others took this same approach.
I think it should be noted that Deadeye (bow builds) has one of the two skills that are already getting nerfed and another very popular interaction (gas + ignite) is very easily exploited by bow builds.
I did consider that but since the emergency nerf the Deadeye seems to have pulled (slightly) further ahead. Was 31% last night, 33.3% when I did this video's cutoff, slightly higher now. I'd expect the reverse if the emergency nerf hit the build hard.
I feel like they have to combine the "10% spell leech" into the baseline ascendency for it to be good if they want to stick with the must have "blood mage" class fantasy of life costing spells
Part of the problem with blood mage imo is you have to solve both mana and HP costs in a section of the tree that only really supports solving the mana costs. Witch has lots of nearby recoup, but that doesn't help with the HP costs. HP regen is hard to reach without lots of pathing which is losing power you need to survive (it honestly feels like every boss is a race: kill them before you die from the HP costs). Honestly, I think the downsides are way too frontloaded and the upsides too hard to access. Something not mentioned in the video and I think is important to note is that merc and uber lab are not trivial to do so I suspect many of the top builds could function on only 4 ascendancy points. Blood Mage, however, ain't one of them. I respec'd from the leech node to the crit damage node and it already is starting to feel good damage wise, I just need those next two points to double Hexblast's crit rate and then I expect it to start to work. Thing is, getting those two points is just way too hard.
Everyone had deadeye fatigue from the first game. I’m not surprised it’s been the best. It’s probably been historically the most powerful over the last few leagues of poe1.
Love the content! Great coverage that you aren't seeing from most creators, very insightful information. Was looking for more in depth videos now that I've been playing a couple days and pretty much every UA-cam video is "beginner tips to poe 2" or something basic like that. Also, I know you touch on it in the video, but I think someone needs to make a video on how trade works specifically. Just a short concise video that's easy to understand on how to buy and more importantly, sell.
Great content as always. Chonk and chronomancer had some obvious flaws as many predicted but I would never have expected the blood mage to be performing this poorly. Must be due to how scarce recovery forms are in poe2.
It shouldn't be a huge shock that blood mage is doing poorly, since it's first ascendency point makes it worse and most people only have a few points unlocked. Blood mage is designed to excel at late game durability and we have yet to see how it does.
Blood mage just has a terrible league start, i am pretty sure at 8 ascendancy points it has rly good endgame scaling potential once you somehow make it there. Blood mage and gemling legionnaire really seem like classes that shouldn't be your first character of the league but i think both of them can be quite good with investment.
Something anecdotally I've found to be super helpful particularly for beginners: attack/cast speed really matter. I noticed it's much easier to have your DPS up with your active skills when they have short cool cast/attack times as poe2 definitely has an emphasis on actively dodging. Short cast/attack means if you have to dodge rapidly you're more likely to get off your attack/cast.
With the constant rebalancing of skills, I would advice people who wish to play optimally, to not aim for the current best acendencies. Deadeye is already getting nerfed, and it is safe to expect mroe nefts... Those nerfs might be significant, or they might not. In either case, in terms of the next 2 weeks, I would rather play something solidly in the middle, that wont get potentially nerfed into the ground, or changed much. In 2 weeks or so, rerolling into the top acendency will be a lot safer, since less day to day balance changes are likely to take place
i’ve been playing around with mask of the stitched demon on blood mage with the progenesis node, and while i’m still quite early (act 3), this has felt very strong getting 200hp/sec with moderate es investment. excited to see how far i can push this
They say you gotta learn something new every day. This video, like it or not, teaches you a new thing or two. Thank you, Sirgog, for filling my daily learning need.
Stormweaver is slow up until act 3, it's pretty much spark through a fire wall. Once you get level 11 gems, specifically cast on freeze. You can swap over to cold and then your only real limit is how fast you can generate mana since cast on freeze or crit still consumes mana for things like comet. It is very nice being able to consistentlly freeze bosses with a cold build though. 78% cold exposure + 47% Frostbite is a crazy amount of pen, and frozen targets you can ignore their res so you can just burst during their freeze. Once I get the shock ascendancy I'll probably add cast on shock and throw in Lightning Conduit.
Would love to hear more about this build you're running. Do you have a planner link or could you describe more about how you have your skill gems and passive tree set up?
True, it was painful until mid/late act3, now tho, i have massive clear with fireball. The only issue i have is with bosses, clear does not help with boss damage so i struggle. Mana is also a big issue right now and i need to go to town so often to refill flasks. For fireball, i just scale amount of projectiles from the tree and unleash support. Mobs die fast but so do i
I'm hard at work trying to crack Chronomancer. I found 1 way forward that was pretty effective for early game leveling but even that took some time. Basically you use a setup with this: frostbolt, arcane tempo, scattershot cold snap, unleash, conc effect Then for your first 2 points you take slow all enemies by 20% which helps a ton with hitting them with the combo when frost bolt ground chill also get's into play. As for 40 + play I have a few theories I'm trying to workout still. Played with some friends for the first few days so lost my shot at hitting 80+ early lol.
One important thing to note in my opinion is that the pre-launch hipe is key to success as described in this video. If a million players start deadeye, including lots of content creators, and 300 get into top 1000, it might look better then it actually is when comparing to the 10 poor chonk players, out of which 2 got into top 1000. So a total player count per ascendancy would be very nice to know.
While Bloodmage might actually be one of the worst ascendancies with the scarcity of skill and support gems (notably Reap and Exsanguinate which have been datamined), there are 2 setups that work well - Icewall + Comet (excels at clear, the life cost of this one is tough to sustain on bosses though) and Bonestorm[dmg links] + Bonecage[cascade-projection] (clear is bad but it excels at bossing - unfortunately partially due to a movement speed bug while channeling - and life/mana costs are actually sustainable). Btw, for other BM players - Atziri's Acuity looks very good but isn't THAT good to delay progress of your other slots.
2:46 I don't think this surprises that many people. Nobody talking wanted to play it because it's old. Everybody else wanted to play it cuz they knew it would be safe.
I have been spending quite alot of time helping my friends and exploring the game, instead of progressing. Last night I just hit maps, and reached lvl 65. With the warbringer build I made, I feel like I can easily push 80+. I'm beyond excited to see how high I can push this build, and maybe I will post a showcase video at some point when I feel the build is completed. The public needs to know this build exist, cause it's sooo good.
Another huge variant that I guarantee is throwing the data off is how badly the trials with previous league mechanics are preventing people from progressing. I stopped playing my Warrior currently not because of the build but because of the trial of Sekema
sort of confirmed my acolyte suspicions, after setting up the ascendancy + combo buff and a few synergies, it's clunky as hell. Flames don't spawn that often, they each have their own duration (next flame doesn't refresh the previous so they keep dropping), the combo buff requires ten hits + a culling strike to generate 1 charge for 10 seconds... you can't double dip on damage increases so going for chaos damage will only enhance my damage every Thursday on a full moon. Overall feels like I could've just gone crit + cold + lightning + some power charges stuff and press the same buttons I'm already pressing but in a much better ascendancy with more damage and QoL
@@spencers1485 it might, yes, it was initially my plan to spend the first 4 points on chaos damage and then lean into a ci+mom setup later once I got enough es/ev to support it but honestly the damage nodes feel so bad that I see no reason to push the character forward, as it stands the breach is completely useless.
Im chalupa as well and leech is very very hard to get running so far. I have mana leech on my rings and weapon as well as mana leech runes and the mana leech support. From the tree I have ~80 percent increased mana leech. What makes it difficult is that most of the monk skills (or at least the ones I want to use) convert phys to ele and leech only works based of phys dmg delt. All that leech investment and I can’t sustain mana. Not even a little. So picking up the energy shield node would kill me since the downside is no ES recharge. That being said I’m dedicated to finding a leech solution and getting chayula monk to feel good. The percent chance to deal extra chaos dmg node is what’s carrying me haha
Chronomancer just has next to zero skill gems which work well since the main push of the ascendancy is cool down related and there are very few of these skill gems which are main sources of damage.
Deadeye can do bows and crossbows/grenades, also better than merc. It has a speed boost in a speed starved game. And a plus one proj which will boost almost any proj skill considerably. Maybe nothing crazy like some other ascends but all rounder which is what people look out for in poe.
Imma call it now int stacking chaos dot gemling legionaire is going to catch on once you get a bunch of + levels to proj gems vine arrow dark effigy essence drain and the kicker despair with decay and hex prolif. Ganna be huge
Wish you mentioned more of the tech being used by the classes and why it might be performing/underperform. I understand you can't see there gear, so its not easy. But it seems like you have a community that shares. Ex. deadeye: frenzy stacking, herald abuse/double dip, ranged. Even bad players can get good damage. Chrono: no damage buffs in ascendancy? Infernalist: minion?
Infernalist is very unique and does well. I knew it's gonna be on top. Funny thing is that let's say you dont like minions, you could play ignite or if you like minions but ur not fully commited into them, you could play ignite but let the minions inflict it. It's a very cool ascendancy overall.
@danfitzi18 Yeah I tried that and got dissapointed, but I can easily just pivot into srs. Easy fix. Also I believe people did ignite with the wrong skill, including me. I didnt try incinerate.
@@GE_Photon_Lord yeh I don’t enjoy srs, so that’s not for me. I tried fireball ,firebolt. Sphere. Firestorm, Couldn’t get it to work. Would love to see a build though
Gemling Legionaire is so low on its performance because the entire ascendancy is bugged right now and straight up doesn't work. Most of the nodes have significant bug that prevented it to function as intented and can brick a character in rare circumstances. Commonly known issue being the extra three skill slots are bugged, and gem upgrading failed to take Adaptive Capablities into account.
What I see is everyone wanting to be a generic mana burning caster with Blood Mage instead of leaning into the Occult. I took the Ascendancy right away and was running around with 1200-1500 life in Act 2, didn't suffer at all. I'm still in Act 3 so I don't have Cast on Crit or Ancestral Bond. But I'm running Unearthed/Minion Insta, Cast on Minion Death Profane Ritual, ED-Con-Despair, self casting Dark Effigy with Detonate Dead/Hourglass/Spell Cascade on the side, also have three Reavers two Warriors(last skill is Bone Cage with Spell Echo/Lockdown). Build is hilarious and fun. Lots of buttons (4 for rotation, not counting DD or Bone Cage), I'd like to fit Blasphemy in there at some point to eliminate one. Everyone is too focused on one maybe two button PoE1 builds. That being said, I feel like if I can drop the minions altogether and get enough Spirit (250 or 220 if I drop Vitality/Clarity from Life Remnants) for CoMD-PR, CoC-DE, and Blasphemy-Despair, it will be a two button build. Hope I can make it happen. Edit: Got some Spirit, ditched the minions and now have Blasphemy, Cast on Minion DD, and Cast on Minion Hexblast. Still 4 buttons, ED-Contagion, Effigy, Unearthed, but waaay smoother and more powerful for clearing. Gonna need a swap set up for bossing.
Enjoying sorc mana/int stacker (going archmage eventually) so far, slow start but by act 3 it was smooth sailing and haven’t died outside of bodyblocking up to cruel act 2 where I am now
Damn you are good! Thank you very much. It is much appreciated. Currently I cant play because of time consuming, work related issues at the near end of the year..but after that I will, and this means your information will be very valuable. Many thanks.
I would say that warbringer had A tier hype. it was one of the ascendancies I heard the most about. I was not even slightly interested in warrior but it was one I read a lot about.
I've been playing arc archmage stormweaver and I think this build has some potential - all buffs together gives like 3-4x dps. For example, I've been able to kill Viper Napuatzi before her spears stage, but it was act 6. IMO people lost interest in this particular build bc game feels slow and cast on freeze is really strong and visually appealing.
It's limited to the data we have which is the ascendancy itself. If someone plays a melee Blood Mage, they'll show as a Blood Mage not as whatever class skills they are using.
Instead of basing this on Ascendancy types, I thinks it’s far more likely this is based on weapon and skill gems. I bet the exact same weapons and builds are being used, just with different ascendancy’s for the most part. I bet both Titan and Warbringer are using the exact same build, also the Deadeye and Pathfinder for example. It’s the skill gems and weapon types that are actually over performing IMO.
Blood mage and overall chaos skills seems soo strange and in desperate need of some love You have to pay initial cost + 3% life es and or 10% life es from tree and support Like you have no way of replenishing this much and the bonus is not that big compared to drawback
I think these trials definitely should be considered here…. Its way too hard to get all ascendancy points, that it may hindered some classes. P.s. i tried playing deadeye to try to be off meta, turned out its probably the one GGG gonna nerf first 😂
Welp, my Gemling Legionaire Minion Setup for the campaign went horrible, no sugarcoating that ;) After starting Ranger, I immediately felt much better for clear, smoothness and I have high expectation of the ascendancy nodes (tailwind being very strong, and also the generic damage and +1 proj are alluring)
I too did minion mercenary and am hating my life. Hate the game and don't want to play it lol. Think I should have levelled as bows or non minions n respec later
@@sweetr333 try Deadeye, trust me, it feels incredible to even level as ranger compared to... that. I play Lightning Arrow + Lightning Rod now, and it had no issues: - Good synergy - Good clear - Good dps - Easy to play
I'm playing pure poison (poison growth + gas arrow or your plague bearer makes them pop quickly and explode packs, then vine arrow and poison burst as add ons. The jumping around with poison growth is kinda whacky so you have to get used to it. I don't have the double poison from 2nd ascendancy yet, and I melt packs, bosses are a little annoying depending on their mobility. I also got lucky and got unique boots which explode corpses into gas clouds so I can just spam growth into the clouds for fast pops.
@@jordanbennett7857 idk if i was doing something wrong, but when i played the poison build, i was dealing 0 damage, im dealing more damage with the nerfed gas arrow/ ignite than with poison, and how you said, the jumping around with toxic growth became really anoying, i want to try the concoction skills, but respecting is getting really expensive
@@Kevin-sg8jq I am also curious about the concs but yeah, respecs and even getting your ascendancies is kinda wild lol. My bow is pretty good and that's probably big reason my dmg feels so good, idk
Didn't everyone know going in deadeye looked cracked, but just didn't want to play it because it was just a repeat of PoE1? Like I'm a bow enjoyer, but wanted to try something new. I'd say for pure power I was hearing lots of "deadeye is free", because bows skills look very strong and it offers tons of generic power that was easy to estimate.
I really tired to brute force running the blood mage 2 points from act 2 I caved near the end of 3 . It can almost feel good but they deserve more power for such a downside . Either reduce the health cost or give them some upside instead.
I think everyone who has played POE1 knew deadeye was one of the best ascendancy choices so I'm confused on why you think it is so surprising that it is performing well. Even if deadeye did a lot less damage than other choices it will still be one of the best because tailwind gives 10% movement speed and the maps are massive and you have to explore every part of them to kill all the rares.
I would love to test out new builds but GGG has decided to stifle creativity by not allowing us to change our ascendancy during a beta test without slogging through another long campaign. I haven’t ascended my Merc yet as I’m just not sure what direction I want to go.
Is Deadeye overperforming because the ascendancy is powerful, or because bow skills are insane and most bow users went Deadeye? 2 Bow skills (Gas Arrow & Magnetic Salvo) were both clobbered in the recent patch.
Yet magnetic salvo still 2 shots t15 bosses. It's strong because bows have tons of dmg nodes available, multiple projs,AND all bow skills shotgun which skyrockets damage.
@@daniellopezgarsco2215 hahaha when you control time why be hasty. But the kit is strong and the recoup tech works for mana too it's going to be broken AF....If I ever make to end game I'll test it out.
I've found my damage to be quite alright on Chronomancer, I've mostly been using Ember Fusillade & Solar orb + Fire Exposure to do alot of burst damage, but I recently switched to using Flameblast and find it chunks alot more consistently and faster.
I'm towards the end of act 3, I could see myself rolling Deadeye simply for the node that lets you strafe fire faster. I'm playing Blood Mage myself and just got my second set of ascendancy points (seriously fuck Ultimatum seven ways to sunday) and the blood orb gimmick is promising but it's current execution is trash. Consistently they spawn inside a boss hitbox and I can't reach it, even though I'm staying very close to the boss at most times.
The crit orbs need to spawn near the player, don't mind the kill ones spawning at the target, but one of the act 2 bosses you literally can't get to the orbs because he's coming out of a hole. I also think they need to move some spell leech forward to the first node, or have blood orbs drift towards you slowly. Chayula monk needs the same change with the flames. If not leech, even a little bit of crit would help to proc the crit orbs more often.
@@Bladius_ I have taken literally every single crit node I could realistically get at my level and I do spawn them reliably on bosses, but the amount of healing they do is nowhere near enough to sustain your character on. My plan is to go lifestacking with recoup and use the Progenesis node, but that's way further in progression. I hope things pick up in cruel in terms of gearing opportunities because it's rough as fuck right now. I'm also playing SSF so that's not helping.
Spell cost should be shared 50/50 between life&mana instead of the current 100/100. Also if blood orb wasn't picked up after a few seconds it should be sucked in automatically instead of disappearing. I feel like they've balanced blood mage around some legendaries that can make her extremely strong and tanky. But before that she's underwhelming to the point that "do not ascend" is the most legitimate and common advice I've seen.
I mean this is yet another "league" demonstrating that the majority of Poe players are drones following their favourite streamers and also can't or don't want to read. It's the same every time.
I've been playing a deadeye since launch day because it sounded the most fun to me. No wonder I've been flying through content others are complaining is too difficult! Maybe it's not because I'm such a skilled gamer, I just choose my class well and/or got lucky. Seriously though deadeye is a fantastic class. Fun to play and very powerful.
I generally watch all your videos but its way too early to think about a meta for me. I've been going super slow my first playthrough and want to just enjoy the game without the fomo of not immediately playing the most op skills
I'll probably come back and watch this later though, after I get at least one character to endgame. Assuming the meta hasn't completely shifted by then
Yeah the plan was to put this out for people who wanted to wait and see what was working before starting, but knowing that lots of people will prefer not to.
This is a little to soeculative for my parts. Mostly just feelings. The ladder prehype isnt interesting. Only an assumption of how many are playing and why. Who cares if they are a random tennis player winning the wimbledon. Noone knew anything and only an absolute dumpster of a player think ranged characters would be bad at levelling or mapping. Like which poe league was melee domination? Ggg are useless at balancing for example minion and melee combat. Absolute F tier. D4 bad.
I got the unique helm that makes warcries explode corpses. Seems like it should be pretty strong considering its an entire acendancy node in warbringer. Thinking about trying str/int witch and exploding minions via the support that makes them count as corpses. One hand mace/scepter off hand. Might be bad lmao. Seems interesting though.
I feel like Witch hunter should be a bit higher and Gemling should be a bit lower overall, considering just how many people seem to be doing extremely well with and enjoying the former vs. how many are feeling kinda burnt by the latter with various ascendency nodes not working as they wanted or well enough overall. And wow, Invoker's that low??? I thought it was one of the very top builds from what i've seen so far. I guess I'm rating based on what i've personally seen from people i know and streamers/content creators i watch not 'ladder' stuff.
What content were you watching that made you think Chronomancer had B tier hype? Maybe that was true when only 3 nodes were revealed - are you not adjusting for the loss of hype when ascendancies were fully revealed and it was clear to everyone that Chronomancer would be ass?
my friend is playing deadeye and he kept saying my build was bad because i should be having similar damage and my tree was bad. now i understand whats happening. clearly not my build being the problem, he just hit the jackpot lol
Infernalist is really bad. let me explain. whilst its good and popular with an SRS minion style build., it just straight up sucks as self cast fire spells, either hit or ignite. at level 55, with good gear full offensive fire passive tree, i cannnot kill white monsters. I thought i was doing somethingh wrong but after finding others on reddit saying the same thing i gues not. Its in an extremely bad place.
I hate my pathfinder. The 1st ascendency is so underwhelming. Both poison choices are bait because poison scaling isn't great. Just take the free skill points.
Day 2 peak numbers outdid day 1, which is unprecedented success. I think a lot of people have been waiting for an ARPG that isn't condescending to players. No "of course you won, we made the fights easy because we think you are stupid". The game treats players will more respect than that, and people keep coming back. (That said, there are some genuine issues)
4 of the gemlings that are high level are because they are in empys 6 man

Titan was definitely at least A tier in pre-launch hype. Other than that, thank you very much for this type of content. Very informative.
2:46 I don't think this surprises that many people. Nobody talking wanted to play it because it's old. Everybody else wanted to play it cuz they knew it would be safe.
These meta analysis videos are always useful. Thank you.
There seems to two builds, grenades or comet lol
Wow who could have thought Deadeye was gonna be S+ tier despite being boring it's almost as if that's exactly what it was in poe1.
Yeah i dont get it
I really wish deadeye and pathfinder didnt make it to poe2
Good stuff. Thanks for the info. Subbed. ❤
Great video structure, I listened as audio while driving, happy days
Another huge variant that I guarantee is throwing the data off is how badly the trials with previous league mechanics are preventing people from progressing. I stopped playing my Warrior currently not because of the build but because of the trial of Sekema
Love your trippy background pix.
sort of confirmed my acolyte suspicions, after setting up the ascendancy + combo buff and a few synergies, it's clunky as hell.
Have you tried setting up a leech build with it? Seems like mom+stacking some energy sheild might be quite tanky
@daniellopezgarsco2215 I wonder if you went into the spirit replacement nodes instead if it be OK damage. Sucks to lose spirit though
@@spencers1485 the darkness thingy is 4 asc points for 30% damage and 600hp at lvl 100 and you're giving up all your spirit. It looks incredibly weak
It's a very cool ascendancy overall.
inferalist self cast fire/ ignite / hit fire builds actually dont work right now, they are so so poor.
Sphere. Firestorm,
Couldn’t get it to work.
Would love to see a build though
@@GE_Photon_Lord incinerate was insanely bad. ended up switching to minions and it was easily 5-10x dps
@@Ledef3 Yeah minions seem like the go-to. The sheer fact that they take dmg for you is already insane.
Any item stat tier list out? Trying to determine items worth so I don’t scrap something of value.
Enjoying sorc mana/int stacker (going archmage eventually) so far, slow start but by act 3 it was smooth sailing and haven’t died outside of bodyblocking up to cruel act 2 where I am now
Is Deadeyes popularity largely tied to the huge movement speed buffs?
Nice video, but why you don't include some kind of summary chart at the end?
Glad to see I was right to stop leveling my bloodmage and do a stormseaver instead
The new Devouring Diadem would do wonders for Blood Mage, at least while mapping
The problem is you're giving up a sceptre which provides malice and enough spirit for 2 whole blasphemies.
Your method might not be valid, are you sure the effect you are rating is the ascendancy or the skills of the baseclass?
It's limited to the data we have which is the ascendancy itself. If someone plays a melee Blood Mage, they'll show as a Blood Mage not as whatever class skills they are using.
Once infernalist gets their hands on specters, they'll probably go to S tier
Instead of basing this on Ascendancy types, I thinks it’s far more likely this is based on weapon and skill gems. I bet the exact same weapons and builds are being used, just with different ascendancy’s for the most part. I bet both Titan and Warbringer are using the exact same build, also the Deadeye and Pathfinder for example. It’s the skill gems and weapon types that are actually over performing IMO.
Blood mage and overall chaos skills seems soo strange and in desperate need of some love
You have to pay initial cost + 3% life es and or 10% life es from tree and support
Like you have no way of replenishing this much and the bonus is not that big compared to drawback
I think these trials definitely should be considered here…. Its way too hard to get all ascendancy points, that it may hindered some classes. P.s. i tried playing deadeye to try to be off meta, turned out its probably the one GGG gonna nerf first 😂
Welp, my Gemling Legionaire Minion Setup for the campaign went horrible, no sugarcoating that ;)
After starting Ranger, I immediately felt much better for clear, smoothness and I have high expectation of the ascendancy nodes (tailwind being very strong, and also the generic damage and +1 proj are alluring)
I too did minion mercenary and am hating my life. Hate the game and don't want to play it lol. Think I should have levelled as bows or non minions n respec later
@@sweetr333 try Deadeye, trust me, it feels incredible to even level as ranger compared to... that. I play Lightning Arrow + Lightning Rod now, and it had no issues:
- Good synergy
- Good clear
- Good dps
- Easy to play
Im playing Pathfinder, and i dont see how i can make a powerful build, gas ignite is getting nerfed, and the ascendency doesnt have enough power
@@jordanbennett7857 have u been able to get ur third ascendency?
@@Kevin-sg8jq Not even my 2nd lol. When I get 2, poison amount double, I cant imagine not feeling really strong
I am vwry curious about caster versions of deadeye.
I wanna figure out how to use Bonestorm to put the Dead, Aye! in Deadeye. 😅
I did an ED/contagion blood mage, with dual curse + infinite duration. Damage is okay and doing pretty well on act 4 with shitty gear.
I’m guessing the Warbringer went 2h, 1h has been terrible IMO. The damage of available skills is just so bad in comparison
I m twlliig you right now that there is huge potential for warbringr atribute stakers warcry
I think everyone who has played POE1 knew deadeye was one of the best ascendancy choices so I'm confused on why you think it is so surprising that it is performing well. Even if deadeye did a lot less damage than other choices it will still be one of the best because tailwind gives 10% movement speed and the maps are massive and you have to explore every part of them to kill all the rares.
because this isn’t poe1, which seems a hard concept for many commenters to comprehend.
@@TomJakobW Did you think that just because there is a 2 in the name of the game that multiple projectile or action/move speed would be bad?
after testing almost all builds (except monk) ranger is the most powerfull, ripping everything
Get a mic sirgog. Cheapening out as a content creator at your level doesnt cut it.
This is a great video. Thanks
monk is the most attrocious levelling if you get bad rng with your items like jesus christ
So you used 72+ or 82+ as top players in your metric? quite confusing
he used level 82+ players. there's only 72 individual people that high
I would love to test out new builds but GGG has decided to stifle creativity by not allowing us to change our ascendancy during a beta test without slogging through another long campaign.
I haven’t ascended my Merc yet as I’m just not sure what direction I want to go.
Deadeye being the best one it's a crime, it's the most boring ascendancy by far (mostly because it's just poe1 deadeye)
7:55 ziz carrying the warbringer prob
third times the charm , my third char was dead eye and worked perfectly XD
Is Deadeye overperforming because the ascendancy is powerful, or because bow skills are insane and most bow users went Deadeye? 2 Bow skills (Gas Arrow & Magnetic Salvo) were both clobbered in the recent patch.
Yet magnetic salvo still 2 shots t15 bosses. It's strong because bows have tons of dmg nodes available, multiple projs,AND all bow skills shotgun which skyrockets damage.
F for my fellow blood mages, sustain is absolutely horrible
While my DPS is pretty Trash the Chronomancer has been amazing for survivability 20% global slow + Temporal Rift makes the game pretty easy.
Yeah, it may well do better in future. Bad early isn't necessarily trash forever.
@@sirgog The real boss of POE2 is a lack of a POB.
could you say it's... taking it's time to pop off?
But before that she's underwhelming to the point that "do not ascend" is the most legitimate and common advice I've seen.
this build is inconceivable 😛
I mean this is yet another "league" demonstrating that the majority of Poe players are drones following their favourite streamers and also can't or don't want to read. It's the same every time.
I might try chaos totem chayula monk pretty soon
I chose deadeye to be different have cheap gear. didn't work out for me lol
Lol @ your hexblast mines history lesson. Koreans and Rathpith Globe are like peanut butter to jelly. They are one; intertwined.
I feel so validated for picking deadeye. The good old boring stuff turns out to be just as good as it was in PoE1.
I enjoy a hamburger and fries as much as the next person, but I'm not ordering every time I go out.
We all knew it was cracked, just wanted to try something new.
Unbiased facts 👍
Maybe that was true when only 3 nodes were revealed - are you not adjusting for the loss of hype when ascendancies were fully revealed and it was clear to everyone that Chronomancer would be ass?
witchhunter crying in the corner
Fragmentation ammo is still the best feeling skill I've played in PoE. It just feels so good and chonky!
ty
my friend is playing deadeye and he kept saying my build was bad because i should be having similar damage and my tree was bad. now i understand whats happening. clearly not my build being the problem, he just hit the jackpot lol
I haven't gotten past act 2 because I have am playing with my friends and they keep rolling

Lol😂 trash can
Cool, enjoy it, I'd rather play this.
PoE 2 is terrible they need to fix this game or people will quite pretty soon.
