I'm assuming this was not a sanctioned event. The broken tractor should NOT have the choice of pulling at the end of the field. Safety OBVIOUSLY is not a concern...so many pullers without gloves or helmets strapped on, people sitting on the wall. That's VERY dangerous!! Other than that...thanks. It was a good pull. Congrats to the winner.
The sanctioning body is Dragon Motorsports based out of Millers Tavern. This the home pull of this organization. The guys sitting on the far wall, even starting off, they shouldn't be there. On my end, it is track officials only for the most part. This is a 20/30 MPH sport, not 200+, so things move at slower speeds. The tractor that broke I am not sure what hook he was but has two attempts. If broken, they can come back if the problem appears to be corrected. That is a judgment on the puller. Each puller has two attempts to move the sled so long as it doesn't go past the 100-foot mark. This is across all sanctioning bodies across the U.S. Some leagues say you can re-hook if you don't go past 75-foot. Fire suits, gloves, turning on GoPro's, that is getting a little bit ridiculous and was brought up during the drivers meeting. People will need to lose points before they fully embrace that. I make the joke that you would think that is the itchiest stuff on the planet as quick as they take it off.

Wow- 40 minutes of tractor pulling action! Well, not so much. Delbert pulls up and backs into position. Then, Delbert puts on his right glove. Then, Delbert puts on his left glove. Then, Delbert puts on his helmet. Then, Delbert thinks maybe it's time to go. Sheesh! No wonder some of the spectators are looking over the back of the stands. How 'bout a little more editing and a little less advertising?

There was no editing on this. It was RAW. With a TV truck, we could do highlights in between hooks, show integrated stats, points standings, alternate camera angles. I have the know how to do it all. We just need the budget!
