Wow what an awsome adventure. Love your courage and gumption to go go out and do what the rest of us can only dream about. No doubt you will learn lots of lessons and have lots of fun on route. Can't wait to join you both (even if it is only virtually) on your epic journey.
Phew, that’s some challenge, we’ll be watching you both all the way & when you return we’ll have to look in detail to see if we are related 😬 Good luck & enjoy your venture Lavi & Ollie. Iain & Carole 😎

Hey! 🙌 we’re not 100% sure yet but we’ll probably look to find a boat ☺️ We didn’t get a carnet actually we don’t need one for our proposed route! You gotta get going! 😁🙏🌎
So ooooo cool guys, I'm going to be following you both for sure can I join you in your UK ride of as would love to follow you and give you as much suport as I can only in the UK bit tho lol
Yes please do join us on our ride out! I will let you know the date closer to the time (probably in around 1 month) Thanks so much Joseph for the support!
@Lavi & Ollie I live in Central Ontario. Near the town of Collingwood. Almost dead centre of the continent. Unfortunately, nowhere near where you will be. In fact, I am almost as close to England as I am to Vancouver.
I'm bummed that you won't be swinging by Australia! 😞 But I'm excited to follow your travels here on UA-cam, Facebook and Instagram! 😁 What an adventure this will be! If you haven't already, get in contact with Jim from the Adventure Rider Radio podcast, as I'm sure he'd love to interview you and follow your travels.
We haven’t full worked out the section after Canada so there is still a chance we may go that way, but not as likely as hitting Asia directly, so we’ll see 😁 Where are they based? We will indeed get in contact 😊
@@LaviandOllie They're in Canada but they interview people all over the world via the internet. Great guys who are very supportive of overland travellers. So many inspiring stories on their podcasts.
Yes it will be an amazing adventure. Yes it will make amazing content that everyone can enjoy......However you really need to learn how to ride a motorcycle to some skillful level. You need more than basic training. Appreciate the danger. You cycled across the UK which was awesome but you struggled to fix flat tyres and even inflate them! So you need to get competent at fixing a motorcycle. Search out an expert rider and mechanic and and get tuition and advice. Bonus this will make good content too.
Yes indeed we have planned to do that actually! (spend time learning about bike maintenance/ mechanics). Slow and steady to start and hopefully all will be well :) Anything that goes wrong will make good content you're right! 😂
I couldn't agree more, this just seems so unplanned, an inexperienced rider taking a pillion around the world is just daft. As said, appreciate just how dangerous this can be. I've ridden off road a little with my old 650 Vstrom and it's not a bike that I'd ride around the world without some significant training, especially with the extra weight and responsibility of a pillion, i hope you realise what some of the roads and driving standards are like in some of the countries you are going to. Even with my bike maintenance experience and knowledge I'd still want to do off road and mechanical training courses. Wish you all the best of luck but I can't see this going well tbh
@@Urquie87 Modern bikes like modern cars are not really in any way fixable on the road and basic maintenance is all you need especially on a Strom. These are not the times of Ted SImon or El Beard which is when I started riding tho even then the Japanese bikes required little. The bike is heavy for any serious off pavement but generally bullet proof, decent fuel range and a good platform for their use....also not a BMW. Not having a spare key and perhaps a powerbank for both boosting the bike and power source for the devices were certainly noob mistakes. Really enjoyed the series so far. They have the skill set for travel from their previous adventures....the riding is the easy part and they are not doing distance tho they may think they are :D
