As others have said… great meeting you both at GenCon briefly. Hope you had an awesome time at GenCon for your second time. Happy GenCon recovery days! Lol😂
Hello friends, great overview, as always. I really liked that a player can choose to be either a wizard or monster in the solo variant. I was also very curious about the 0 player variant. It's really interesting to add this to demonstrate the game play. Thanks for sharing. I know I haven't commented much lately, but always really appreciate all that you do. Thank you for everything.
Absolutely agree, that mechanic the monster can eat everybody, can banned ability wizard, and have a lot of resources, while wizard depend on lucky of dice throw or bag building, sad balance
Monique started her last turn in the same space as a merchant (yellow) so she would have had to eat them first, no? And then ended with two butchers (white) to raise the curse track by one. So if I'm reading this right, unless the Monstrous Leap ignores the effects of having to eat the merchant, Naveen might have won on his next turn? EDIT: Seems like eating a villager in the space the monster wakes up in is optional so Monique played her last turn correctly. GG!
If you are in the UK, EU, Canada, Australia, New Zealand then on the campaign you can find links to local retailers who are offering pre-orders for the game.
Absolutely it would. Look how close Naveen was to winning even with Monique knowing the upcoming ingredients. If the wizard can know how the monster scores, why shouldn't the opposite be true?
The game has AI decks for each side when playing as 1 player. You can pit the decks against each other, so it's technically 0 players with the person playing just facilitating what the decks dictate.
It was AWESOME to meet you at GenCon this weekend. Keep up the great work!!!! You are opening the hobby to many couples :) Love what you do :)
I love when my favorite gaming UA-camrs go over the same games

This is the best board game channel by far!! For learning board games or entertainment (playthroughs)...❤
Saw you two at Gen Con but it didn't register until I was like 5 steps past the intersection. It was cool either way

This looks really fun! I look forward to beating my friend at it :)
"But it's time to feed [giggle]" Oh Monique!!
I love Monique's aggressive wave.
Wizard not having a way to protect from monster's skills or even having a way affect the monster like it does to wizard is kinda broken IMO...

I came to say this! The Monster cards seem way over powered - discarding spells, no ability to draw new spells… very unbalanced
Good game. Looks like Wizard has to work harder and Monster has some advantages- free movement and eat villagers.
Another person commenting that it was cool to run into you at Gencon :)
"It does require me to have a hunter in my belly, and I have THREE."
The things board-gaming makes people say.

Kind of weird that this game is only available in the U.S., and limited copies sent to Canada 🤔
The first turn that the monster went, wasn't that more than 3 actions? Or does moving not count as an action?
I was hoping this was related to So You've Been Eaten. The design of 0 player games is really interesting.
I think its not fair, magician cant put merchants necessarily color, little bit disbalanced
This game is similar to another one I have, it’s called So You’ve Been Culled 😂
I'd like to get this game but I live outside the US unfortunately. Apparently this game only ships within the US.

@@ludicreations-joycardboard643 haha thanks. I'm in Asia though, so I think they're currently not working with any suppliers to get the game here.
It feels like the monster should not know the upcoming ingredients. Not sure if that would make it too unbalanced though.

Zero player? How? Huh
I suppose any game is also for zero players…you just don’t play it 😂
