DO NOT STAY HERE !!! I don't recommend this hotel, especially the one in Porterville, CA where we stayed. We booked & paid for 3 nights on the Agoda app. The price was reasonable. The room was simple and clean. However the front desk lady was rude and refused to extend our stay 3 more nights, saying their policy is limited to a maximum of 3 nights. When we said there was no notification of such policy by either the hotel or on the Agoda app, and she said she didn't care, and we had to leave and to call Agoda to get our money back. Who has ever heard of not allowing anyone to stay 6 nights? The place is only 10 percent full. The owners and front desk staff must be crazy. We called Agoda and they called the hotel to see if they could process the booking or cancel it with no cancelation fee. Agoda canceled the booking but claims the refund of money we paid will take up to 30 days before it is returned to our bank.
Hi dear friend, I am sorry to learn about your not-so-positive experience, it sounds weird and I hope there was a misunderstanding because the staff at the place where I visited was very kind. Yet you mentioned this is not the same place where I stayed, so it is essential to emphasize that. As for AGODA... well I'm not a big fan after my last trip booked with them. They are not helpful at all... Anyway, I hope your trip wasn't ruined because of this bad experience, and you managed to find a different solution. Best regards, OVR Guy
