    Very good comparison video, thanks!
It would fair to say, that reels is not the only consideration when one is choosing a system. Jobo reels are harder to load, but their tanks consume less liquid.

The Jobo has been teasing me, but I didn't put my fingers on the side. Thanks!

Could you make a video of how to load two 120 rolls in the same Jobo reel?

Yes, we planned on doing a shorter version of the video where we just show how to load both formats.

AP has always been copying Paterson, and also inherits the shortcomings. The bearing system means the more film is loaded into the spiral, the greater the resistance, so if the film got jammed for some reason, you cannot bail yourself out. The Jobo does not push the film into the spiral but pulls it instead, I have never had any problem whatsoever with them. In addition it's more versatile and more economical with chemicals too.

They do not demonstrate the JOBO loading 120 because it is next to impossible.

AP is actually the best for both formats. For 120 the Paterson is the worst

True, and Patterson is usually more expensive as well. So why do most folks buy Patterson? Probably because of the widespread promotion of Patterson by folks already invested in the junk.

i bought 3 paterson reels for 120 *facepalm*, i developed 5 120 rolls so far and each time it was horrible. I really take my time and try my best, but the shitty ball bearings or something else jams and i can start over again. Definitely damaged my film with this, even though i was suprised as how much mishandling the emulsion can withstand (fomapan100/400). In the beginning i thought it´s just me or the fomapan film, but i´m really fed up with paterson. I need 5-15 minutes for a film, maybe even more. Each time it was absolutely horrible. I think i understood well how to guide the film and that it can slip out if handled incorrectly, but the ball bearings are something i simply can not fix. So, should i get AP?

@@Raumweiter get Reels from AP. Those fit in the Paterson but have also a kinf of lip which makes it a bit easier

@@klofisch i removed the ball bearings completely. It works very well. First i tried to clean the reels, so there is absolutely no residue but id didnt work. Then i removed one ball bearing in order to move the film more freely, didnt work as well. It even got worse. So i developed another 3 rolls since then and today i just pulled the balls out and it worked perfectly well on the first try! No scratching, no jamming. Smooth and quick. So i think i found my way to do it
