a bunch of the game modes in sumo just feel like fuzion frenzy, if anyone remembers that game. i can see blaze is very similar to tailblazer, with the map getting smaller instead of trails getting longer like in the original, and skirmish looks like sumo with powerups and obstacles. oh, and while i don’t remember most mini games, there was absolutely one where you could get hit by a train in fuzion frenzy aswell
the QTE ragdoll mechanic is genuinely inspired though, if kojima added that to death stranding people would lose their minds
