- I filmed it at the Sanicole Airshow 2021, each september in Belgium. This was the Friday's Sunset show (10 Sep 2021). There were also shows during the day on Saturday (although less because of bad weather) and on Sunday.
This was the HuAF (Hungarian AirForce) Saab Gripen. There was also a Czech AirForce Saab Gripen at the airshow. - Авто та транспорт

Incredible turns and everything. I think Gripen is the best-looking modern jet. Star Wars Fighter looks !, That negative G pull at 4:25!

Gripen has the sharpest turn of any modern 4+th gen fighter! gosh, it’s actually F-16XL in disguise?!
Yet it loses to the F-16 at just about every single contest

@@tommykarlberg cost, performance, package it delivers at that price etc. I mean the Gripen E is probably in par with the F-16V at best, which is still a step behind the block 70 and is priced at 85 million a plane which is 5 million more than an F-35A who's price is still dropping
@@F22raptor46 Ah, the contest of numbers. I can't respond properly to that since I don't have the latest info. I do however know that the public performance numbers isn't the "whole story". Gripen does very good in wargame exercises. But I guess an up to date F16 also delivers. What is best for the customer boils down to what the customer needs and want. And also of course that it's used in the correct way. So there are many for us hidden parameters that decides wich plane is the best. I had the opportunity to see a Gripen and a F18 at an airshow a couple of years back. The F18 was very powerfull and pressed around in the turns with high alfa. It looked amazing. But the Gripen did faster turns because it didn't loose as much energy. It does not look so dramatic, but it was very efficient. Hope this Cividshit soon is over so I can go to airshows again ;)
@@tommykarlberg Yes I wholeheartedly agree with you on this. However for a plane it's size its way too overpriced, and then you have the marketing department of SAAB which does just as shoddy a job at advertising as the Russians do where they overhype and underdeliver. I have no doubt in my mind the Gripen is an excellent aircraft and can punch above it's weight, but to say it can do the same job as an F-35 at less than half the cost is more than a stretch considering the two are a whole generation apart and the Gripen isn't worth it's pricetag, especially considering there are way cheaper and proven options that can provide more.
And yes I agree I too hope like hell this Covid BS can end already

Esses "fogos" servem pra "enganar" mísseis que usam o calor para atingir os alvos (no caso o avião por causa do motor). Como eles são muito quentes, conseguem desviar o missel e evitam que ele atinja o avião

I filmed it at the Sanicole Airshow 2021, each september in Belgium. This was the Friday's Sunset show (10 Sep 2021). There were also shows during the day on Saturday (although less because of bad weather) and on Sunday. I will upload those too, more Gripen solo's, F-16(C) solo's with A LOT of afterburner and an AMAZING F-18 solo + more jets, jet formations and old planes, but I am still working on all sunset video's first.
This was the HuAF (Hungarian AirForce) Saab Gripen. There was also a Czech AirForce Saab Gripen at the airshow.

Yeah, one of the best shows I have seen! I think pilots still haven't mastered the F-35 as much to do crazy high alpha maneuvers.

4:25 !!! extreme negative G. Is there even a pilot flying? You can take positive G any day but negative Gs are instant blackout.

@@baskolthof I agree , we only have the typhoon and odd f35 ( watched tornadoes in the valleys as a kid , , they AWESOME fast just off the deck ) . I can only wish I’d be lucky to see a felon in person especially doing full acrobatics . I’d be jumping up and down , clapping , rubbing hands together and cheering . Mates and people around me think I just lost the plot but no , I saw the most amazing fighter doing things they said was impossible. Be like the first time I saw a Pitt special in a display , your chin on the deck thinking wow ha ha
@@pauldean8638 But nothing beets the roar from the last prouced JA 37 Viggen they never flew outside Sweden only at F13 Martin Blå and the sound scared the shit of all tourist I remembered. They allways started in a route (2) at 60 - 80 meter when they took off days to remember
