- When Rikki and Cleo realise that Will has made a connection between Bella, Mako, and the full moon, they warn Bella to stay away from him, but she can't. Will is also growing incredibly interested in her, and wants to spend time with her; but when he realises that Bella won't swim, he deliberately spills some water on her, thinking her secret might be something to do with water. In a panic, Bella dives into the water, but Will follows her... and discovers that she is a mermaid. Afterwards, Bella tells Will how she became a mermaid. Can he keep her secret?

Rikki seems to be so controlling and bossy this season. She's still one of my favs, but she can lighten up some. Bella's been at it longer than Rikki and Cleo, so she's obviously had more experience than the other two.

Well it’s been quite a few seasons and it’s shown how the characters have grown throughout the seasons, so maybe Rikki understood what her friends were doing in the end so she’s kinda doing the same with Bella. Although Will has linked this whole thing to Bella so that’s probably why she’s worried. With Zane he didn’t really suspect a thing, he found out they were mermaids on accident kinda like with Louise. You know the characters have a change of heart because they’ll say you should tell them your secret. People change, it’s rare at times but it still happens
But we still love cuz nobody is perfect 💯

Aight disclaimer: Rikki’s being kinda mean in this episode because REMINDER that Zane once was obsessed with mermaids, so it was pretty hypocritical of her. Just saying, because I love Rikki.
GoodGirlHalo I think it’s also because when Rikki and Zane were first dating it was before Dr.Denman and Rikki, Cleo, And Emma were all almost expiremnted on and their secret was almost exposed. Maybe rikki is more cautious with will and Bella because is afraid of that happening again. Last time she felt like she let her friends down bc she brought Zane closer, and she doesn’t want anything to happen like that to Bella or them.

But Zayne wouldn't hunt mermaids if he knew it was Riki. She never revealed it to him. He even helped them escape when he realizes it's them.
Also, it's Will at fault here. They knew he's persistent to the point that he forced her to reveal the secret. So if Riki didn't warned her ahead, then the splashing could have been a shocker to her.
