John G. Lake Sermon: "Not Try But Trust"

- If you are struggling in receiving healing, this sermon by John G. Lake will help you. If you don't have time to listen to the entire reading, please go to the last 10 minutes. I quote:
"Let God have you. Quit sweating, quit wrestling. About the most difficult class in the world to get healed is the Christian Scientist. Why? Because they work at it so hard. You have to lead them away from it all to that place where, "It is not TRY but TRUST". That is the secret of Christ's salvation; that is the secret of Christ's healing. It is not trying to get healed. It is trusting Him for it, and believing Him when He says He will do it, and the mind relaxes and the soul comes to rest." If you need healing today, receive. Then take that posture: Jesus IS healing me NOW. I AM receiving. If you will make that your inward attitude and go through to the completion of it, you will see your healing totally manifested.
I came to this because Jeremiah Klass' testimony. He said it was so helpful in changing his mind- he was right, this was wonderful. Thank you!
I did too. I watch Jeremiah and he led me to this....or should I say Holy Spirit led me to it through Jeremiah! Be blessed.

Me too:) just listened to Jeremiah’s teaching too and came here to listen . When John lake spoke of “ clutching” on to the sickness and how It prohibited God from working on it..I was like ..I get the message Lord..it’s all yours now ..I’ve never done that..just given it over….it’s a bit of a battle to rest but I’m doing it one moment at a time….

So needed this. Mercury poisoning has caused lots of organ problems, etc. I take vitamins for my heart, others for kidneys, others for liver, etc. etc. I am at my wits end. Crying out for healing daily. I know now I must STOP, let go, and let God have ALL of this. I am His Child, and by His Stripes I AM HEALED. Thank you so much for this message
I have been fighting, fighting, pushing, trying everything I know how to do. It came to a heated confrontation with the Lord. I don't like the things I said to him. I really blew it. But for some reason, I felt peace afterwards. I know He could have struck me down but He didn't. I awakened this morning stronger in my body and hope for a full recovery. Dear Roy, stay in the 'i'm receiving' mode. Since the Cross, the inheritance is in force. Just as you receive an earthly inheritance after a family member has died because the 'will' is activated/in force so it is with the Covenant Jesus ratified with His Own Blood (Hebrews 9). So now we receive. If you are mentally settled on the fact healing WAS INCLUDED in the Redemptive Word, there is now just receiving/withdrawing what is yours. I’m also here because of Jeremiah from Healing Journey’s. I have been believing God for a baby but I’m struggling with letting go. Every so often I think I am there until the next cycle starts. I’m going to pray to God to give it over….I’ve been so very sad…..I need to move from trying to trust to trusting. I will listen to this time and time again. As you read Dr. Lake, write out points he makes, let the Spirit lead you to what sermons to read. Make statements of faith out of what you learn. Renew your mind. Fill your mouth.

Absolutely amazing. When my mom was sick in hospital I was the only one believing for her healing. I gave up when sentence of death was passed. I couldn't and can't do it alone.

"Father, I receive......." This statement keeps your 'switch of faith' turned on. Since the Cross & Resurrection, we 'receive' what God has given, for example salvation.....you received what was provided for you 2,000 years ago. I keep my 'switch of faith' turned on FOR YOU.

like minded people are hard to find. there's a huge difference between a Christian and a genuine born again believer as jesus was. rare indeed.
many are nice, kind good morals, happy, but not completely in tune as jesus was. This is a rare breed. 1 in a 1000 if you're lucky.
when I go to churches, my walk with God suffers. I come out frustrated, exasperated, the music is often horrid, the preaching shallow, the lives lukewarm and void of power.
jesus said, when I return, shall I find faith in earth? that is today's state. you may be walking a pioneers path. hard to do. look for them. you need them.
