Yo DT, Welcome back. Good job calling out the obvious problem of 25fps. Anything less than 30fps is uncivilized. lol DDPAI has been dropping the ball ever since the 4K Mini5. That was the last decent camera they made. The DDPAI X5 Pro was a flop at $400+ The Z40's achilles heel was a weird aspect ratio that was not the standard 16:9. 9:04 Hey is that an A229? That's the review I want to see. lol -Chuck
> Anything less than 30fps is uncivilized. Totally agree. It just boggles the mind that reducing resolution does not offer the increased frame rate. I'm willing to work with DDPai on this though and if they release a firmware update for it that adds proper 30FPS modes I'll test it a bit more. And yes that is an A229! It's been in my car for a while and I've been struggling to think of things to say about it since it's been really unobtrusive in my daily life and just existed in the way I think dashcams should.
I purchased a GPS version but ur dash cam display is showing exact same features like mine. May i know why it doesnt not have alert & speed of the car in front like some other users?
196MB per min of footage in H.265 = 11.7GB / hour front camera 48MB per min of footage in rear cam H.265 = 2.7GB / hour rear camera total: about 14.4GB/hour
@@DrekiTech thx, another questions and sorry for bothering u😀: 1- If the two cameras working in same time, front cam still 4k? (Some cams if both work, front become 2k) 2- How is the company support after sales? And cam updates? 3- How much is the difference video quality between the cam and one u uploaded youtube? 4- what is max size for memory I can put?
Good to see another DrekiTech review; it's been a while :-)
Excellent review, I've been missing them!

Thank you. Do you think it is better than the A119?
Hello guy! Could you check please, if it's possible to adjust time or time zone without phone ?
Hey man! Do you know what SoC is inside this dashcam?
I have asked but no info so far :(
@@DrekiTech It's ok. We all know Chinese attitude to any kind of quirky requests :)
Is the video/picture quality much better in ddpai x5 pro (it has a 90 fps)?

May I ask: how much the size of 1 hour recording?

48MB per min of footage in rear cam H.265 = 2.7GB / hour rear camera
