I love this. Naruto knew what a real friend was. Until you've lost or never had anything at all in life you never really understand what it's like to have a genuine friend. I'd rather just be alone by myself then to be surrounded by a million people who say they are my "friends." A friend doesn't need to remind you that they are your friend. Just that one impactful moment sets that stone in place and you just know, this is a friend.

Bro I don’t know why people compare Naruto and Sasuke’s childhood like hey Sasuke your family died oh no well that other kid Naruto has a demon fox inside him was shamed by the entire village for it didn’t have parents from the start and you thought that was bad he also got rejected from his love after saving her multiple times from you and she still loved you where also a genius he was dumb and he still became a better ninja than you and you were so full of “hatred” left the village and he still brought you back because he’s a good friend (thanks for reading the whole thing).

I am sorry but i would rather be in Naruto’s shoes than Sasuke’s. Sure, Naruto was alone and bullied ever since he was a child but Sasuke had to witness his parents and his entire family getting slaughterd by his elder brother whom he loved the most. Naruto’s trauma comes from the feeling of loneliness not the feeling of losing someone you love. The only time when Naruto was close to what Sasuke felt was when Jiraiya died because he was just a newborn when his parents died. Now don’t get me wrong i don’t like to compare the trauma of these two but i just feel like Sasuke’s life was just fucked up, especially after he learnt the truth about Itachi.

@@solar_makes_edits I was talking about their childhood not early teens. Kurama died when he was in his thirties. Sasuke lost his entire family, oll at once in one night,at the age of 7. It wasn’t just the loss of them it was more the fact that he saw them dieing at the hands of his own brother, that made it brutal to me. People overlook Sasuke’s trauma and think that it was more painful what Naruto went through just because we got attached to those characters that Naruto lost, Which is understandable since we didn’t really know that much about any member of Sasuke’s family other than Itachi but that doesn’t mean that his trauma was any less meaningful.
