I'm not happy seeing kenya miss medals in the Olympics competition because her best athletes are moving out to represent other countries. so frustrating. Lost talent.

Is not only Kenya is Africa leaders who are corrupt and selfish, who don’t want Africa benefits. You should go to compete in other countries because you can’t lose yourself in country that supports you to achieve your dreams. You’re young beautiful girl and you should be proud of yourself. God bless you for your hard work and dedication .

It would be important to ensure the selection procedures are fair and just to everyone. Other than that, when a country produces so many athletes, it is normal that selection to national team will be very competitive. Athletes want to develop their career to international level. In such circumstances, some athletes may decide to relocate to other countries where they can easily get slots in national teams. It would be unfair to block that possibility. It is like someone gets a job in another country.

Now the potential ones are leaving us, how do we feel seeing them win as we lose?

And it mostly start at village level, to get to the top you must know people in stages. I wonder what our kids will look like in sports

It is interesting but Yavi says she was not qualifying due to competition.I do not see any issues of tribalism!

She can't say it lively even from her talking, she is a winner and that's why she can express her frustrations

You don't know what you are talking about!!!It is all about competition; In Kenya trials (like in any other trials) you select the top most perfomers in the trials.Sasa tribalism inatoka wai-the girl himself said she did not finish at the top then.Maybe if she was in Kenya's trials this year, she could have qualified!!

You'll be shocked by what happens on the ground. Some even pay upto 2000000kshs to get the slots, knowing very well that they win and recover their money back.

Nothing to do with corruption: Just finish at the top. Even.Emmanuel Korir the defending 800m champion is not at Paris because he finished outside the top positions in the trials.Simple.Sio kuonewa au ati corrupting. The girl in question left after 2016(Kenya trials in middle and long distance running are tough and very competitive!).She was not yet at her peak form then, but I'm sure if she was in the trials as from last year considering her form, she could have qualified for sure.

But why should our country let such talents go elsewhere. Anyway ni kutafuta tunatafuta
