Removed some parts from intakes... made them solid / static intakes instead of variable geometry intakes which makes plane go faster and higher top speed... which is not very useful for a bomber... so they removed it and made it static which also makes maintenance easier It can also use laser guided missiles and bombs... and TV guided stuff... which is the same missile but literally different seeker... it was a matter of unscrewing the seeker and screw on a different one apparently... First I struggled with the correct radar modes, once I managed to lock what I want when I want the missles like to take the most stupid way imaginable towards a teammate. It really isn´t fun. Either you are in the top plane at the techthree with the top IR missle set, or you have to buy a top missle set. Then even radar missles might work, or Gaijin just does not allow you to lock the enemy from the front with IR.

I even went into that in the first place, because it was part of the video, when he talked about his missles hitting a teammate. How can u miss that, im totally on topic ;-) With Phoenix radar missles the problem is even greater than he mentioned here. He was concerned about the teammates infront of him. With Phoenix the teammate does not even need to be on screen sometimes. The Phoenix goes for the teammate in a much weirder way sometimes.
I mean, you are using a bomb truck version of a plane(that has multiple dogfighting dedicated models to choose from) to dogfight. The maps are big enough now that you can just run bombing runs. Not to mention the plane is still one of the best ground rb jets in the game.
Btw you do realize you ONLY need 4x FAB-500M-62's ( or any other bomb with 325kg of TNT ) to destroy a base... And 2x of them for a weaker base like on those 3 base maps... Most maps are 4 bases and respawnable... which is where you use 4x FAB-500's
If you want more points, then use 20x100 kg bombs. You get about 2x more points than using 4x 500 kg. Im using 500kg only if I have not enough 100 kg bombs.
fr most youtubers say that they want bigger maps but that makes it impossible for us who have to grind for our planes a pain , before the update i could get 5-10 bomb runs and get over 20k xp now i have to wait 15 minutes for my plane to reach a base if i don't get shot down by a 40km missle , and don't even think of flying a sub sonic plane like the su 25 its just pain
@@kingderpington6082 ok but they are boring , imagine flying on a 70km map without afterburner , its pain , 5% base bombing 5% fighting 90% simply flying and unlike most wt players i got less then 2h a day to play because work + highschool
@@c4_ro With the a10 I can def see how it would be boring, but with any other plane you are fast enough that you should be thinking about where you want to position yourself between the start of the match and the start of the fights. And yes i can see how it would be boring, but for stock planes and for grinding you actually spend way less time grinding total.

longer match times gives more rewards, so longer matches are actually better than shorter matches
