Hello everyone, please note that this water loss error is often a different problem. If too much limescale accumulates under the heater cover, the water may not drip into the drip tray but next to it. In this case, the black cover must be removed and cleaned. Have you ever found an ecam 22.110 that when dial is on max only grinds for 3 seconds? I have one and is the only thing that drives me nuts. I've tried everything except replace the board where there is the pic miceocontroller.
Hello, first of all, you need to make sure that the brewing group is easy to move by hand. Otherwise, the machine thinks that too much coffee has been ground and reduces the time of the grinding process. After the brew group has been cleaned and regreased, prepare more than 5x coffee without coffee beans (ignore the error message). After that, the grinding time should be set back to 6-7 seconds. See also my other video about DeLonghi ECAM Mantenance: ua-cam.com/video/OJWguSgyf4c/v-deo.html
We have the same problem, the flushing water flows in the tray below, but the part you mention in the video is not broken. What else can be the cause of this leaking?
It could be that the expansion chamber is very dirty or calcified. This is under the black cover of the heater. After cleaning this part everything should fit again.
Hello! Many many thx for the video it is great. Please let me know that i found scale around "milk foam" maker. You can see what i mean at 2:29 on top at the fitting (yellow-black). Can i use normal Insulating tape for "repair?
@Gábor Szeles you can remove the housing of the heater (the black cover) and clean it inside. It is only attached with three screws. I advise against using a tape.
I found my leak is due to the Steam valve assembly. Do you know how to remove and replace the Magnifica S complete steam valvembly. I am stuck at the connection between the aeembly and the steam wand. Any help is appreciated

Hi, I just bought a different version, Magnifica Evo. Short question, at the automatic cleaning at power up, when water is flowing from the pipes (where the coffee is also flowing when preparing it) is it normal to see/have a bit of water flowing out from the left part? (where all the water flows in your case at the beginning)? I see a bit a flowing also when powering off/turning off, but not so much as when turning on the device. Thank you!
I have a similar problem, on powerup when it is doing the cleaning cycle, I always find a bit of water going into the coffee grind container. How do I stop that from happening? I've replaced the o-rings on the brew head and on the infuser, and still leaks only during the first rinse.
Hi, I just bought Evo too, and I assumed this was a normal cleaning cycle on start up and shit down, I have a small cup next to it also and just empty it out. Is this not meant to happen?
How do I take the top cover off this machine? I have removed all visible screws and the steam dial. The cover seems to be stuck close to the left hand side buttons
hello. when I start the coffee machine there is a water leak but not as much as you have and this part is not broken either.. it takes out about 10ml of water and a little coffee powder in one shot of espresso. is this normal?
It is normal for some water to leak here. However, it should not drip next to it. If this is the case, the exit site must be cleaned of limescale deposits as much as possible.
Many thanks for your videos! They are very helpful! My DeLonghi ECAM Autentica started leaking water. From time to time the coffee is shorter than usual, and the coffee collector contains water. Moreover, when I turn on the machine, often there is no water during the cleaning process, and the machine goes in error (a red triangle appears), and I have to press the power switch to turn off the machine... wait a bit... press again the power switch... and press the button to try to start it again. It happens often that I have to try this multiple times before I am able to make a coffee. Finally, the coffee is also colder than usual. I have already cleaned the machine, performed the decalcification procedure, cleaned (and then also replaced) the infuser. Any suggestion?
Hi, it may be that there are leaks on the water pipes. In addition, if the water collects in the drip tray, it can mean that the upper infuser is also leaking.
My Magnifica S keeps giving the error that it’s dirty while I’ve cleaned everything. Water tank, drip tray, infuser, the small red thinghy and the grounds bin. The screwdriver to open this machine is totally special. Don’t expect to open it with normal tools. I do hope EU regulations will fix that one day. Delonghi desserves a massive fine for that. I can’t fix this machine myself because they made it difficult to open.
This is quite normal when a few drops of water come out on the left side. This happens especially after a cappuccino has been prepared. The small red drip tray is intended for this purpose, in case you remove the drip tray.
@yt.myworks bought it from amazon warehouse. There was loose connection inside the machine. Even after sorting that I found something wrong with the flow and grinder..... getting a replacement.
These delonghi are expensive ,but ultimately Chinese crap with a posh badge. Most expensive coffee maker ive ever bought and it lasted about 15 months of very occasional use
They're still reasonably affordable as far as superautomatic coffee makers go, and the ECAM series are very modular with parts for them found everywhere. The brewing unit for the De'Longhi, for example, costs 1/4 of what it did for my previous Koenig which didn't have half of the functions

Either the limit switches are broken or the transmission is worn out. In this case, you will need to purchase a replacement part or repair it. Check out my other video on this issue: ua-cam.com/video/HZ8oQUGtPjc/v-deo.html
If the transmission is too loose then the brew group cannot find the right position. The electronics calculate the revolutions from the spindle. After that, an error message appears. This is the most common cause of this error.

I have to use the rinse button 4 or 5 times before I get a decently warm coffee. The water that comes out during the warm up and rinse (before shut down) is boiling hot though. I have taken the whole thing apart and cleaned it, I have replaced all the gaskets and I can't see any problems with the thermostat fuses. DeLonghi doesn't want to help and I'm not sure whether to get a new boiler unit or if perhaps the sensors could be the fault. I would appreciate any suggestions if you have the time. Thanks
I recommend replacing the heater and the thermal sensor. I had such a case recently and after replacing it, the coffee got hot again. You can get the spare parts on ebay or other internet shops like this one: www.ebay.de/itm/185445687146?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=707-127634-2357-0&ssspo=vfQ-gIsxQ6W&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=fqjNmJj7Q9S&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=WHATS_APP

Very helpful, thanks. However, where did you get the exchanged part from? And if I can order it somewhere, what is the name of this part?
That's my question 🤣
Yeah same
super
greeting from the NL, wonderful works, many thanks, guess that your location would be not feasible to help me with refurbishment my Magnifica S? it leaked water (don't know from where), and now it caused the safety switch of my home electric board to turn off whenever I turned the brewing button on!
I think you can find out quickly after you open the housing where there is the water leak. Greetings back to Netherlands!
Dear MyWorks, appreciate highly for your reply. I will check 1st the location of the water leak and will report you for further advice. You are so kind. Your videos are amazing!
@@yt.myworks is there any chance that I can send the machine to you for repair? I do not see any chance that I could make the check and fix it myself.
How this part get broken easily? is it happening because of heat?
I think that could have been transport damage.
What is the part name and number that is broken and where can I buy it? Thank you.
In most cases, a clogged heater housing is responsible for the leak. You must first open the case to see if the part is broken.
hi, I bought a new EP5GW pump, and I have a problem because I don't want to suck in water myself .. what am I doing wrong?
Are the hoses connected correctly? If so, it may take a few seconds for the water to get into the pump.
@@yt.myworks yes they are correct. Do you need to prime the pump before it is dry?
I keep seeing coffee in the container that holds the coffee grounds. How do I fix that problem?

Dzień dobry, mam taki sam ekspres i podobny problem.
Można to kupić?
Pozdrawiam.
Hi.
I've a problem with the milk frother.
After about a year of using it, the milk frother doesn't work properly.
The steam comes out with a bit louder, the milk becomes hot but without foam.
The question is: did you get the same issue and if yes what is it or what do I have to operate?
Thanks a lot.
Which DeLonghi model do you have? With a milk container?
@@yt.myworks Hi. Thanks a lot for answered me.
The model is Magnifica S (ECAM 20.116).
@@johannsebastianbach4763 hello, did you eliminate the issue? if yes, how?
@@petrajadudova hello. Unfortunately not yet. It's a little bit complicated and I've to repeat all the steps and make it.
Hi my Magnifica drips when I insert the water tank fully. Any help?
Where is it dripping from?

Hello what name have this part or code can you help me .thanks
Hello, please note that this water loss error is often a different problem. If too much limescale accumulates under the heater cover, the water may not drip into the drip tray but next to it. In this case, the heater black cover must be removed and cleaned. I made a separate video on this topic: ua-cam.com/video/dBPoXI9MenY/v-deo.htmlsi=UoReD7z4N2WALMTJ

Hi, we have exactly the same one but it leaks water in the coffee grounds container. Any idea?
I think that the brewing piston is leaking, I made an extra video for this problem: ua-cam.com/video/3QBLoTMgTec/v-deo.html

Hello friend
my coffee machine with you, my coffee machine in the production of coffee, even though I put the coffee machine cleaning process before and after water with glass picked up, but the drip tray below are always don't know where to clean water, pull out after the drip tray to see, as if also drop left the position, but not very serious, Do you also want to follow your tutorial to replace the white link block? What's the name of this thing? Thank you
In most cases, the heater housing is calcified, causing the water to drip next to it. In this case, the housing would have to be cleaned from the inside. I'll be making a video on this topic soon.
Why did it break?
I think the device fell over
The screwdriver to open this machine is totally special. Don’t expect to open it with normal tools. I do hope EU regulations will fix that one day. Delonghi desserves a massive fine for that. I can’t fix this machine myself because they made it difficult to open.
You can open the screws with a narrow, flat screwdriver.
Simple hexagonal screwdriver you find in any toolshop
@@mkk6758 No, doesn't work, it's strange
It’s a t20 ‘security torx bit’
@@DK-um4go I'm honestly surprised how thick these people are 😂 you are right its a t20 not a "special tool" 🤣🙈🙈🙈🙈
My brand new dinamica plus is leaking from the bottom left...... have to return it.

Mine lasted 10 years and made 6-15 cups daily.

@@yt.myworks the transmission seems to be in good condition. Can I know if it is the limit switch or the motor?
If the transmission is too loose then the brew group cannot find the right position. The electronics calculate the revolutions from the spindle. After that, an error message appears. This is the most common cause of this error.
I have the same problem in a much newer Delonghi. FCKING Delonghi :@
