- Happy mail made simple! Check out these 3 fun happy mail ideas! Share your stationery love through snail mail. Your pen pal would appreciate it.
In today’s tutorial, we’re making a happy mail full of little stationery and ephemera goodies. I’ll show you how I send off mix papers that my pen pal can collage with. We bind them into a DIY envelope and decorate the cover with vintage stickers, washi, and wax seal! Next, we make a transparent card to protect dried flowers on their journey. AND we make a trifold pocket from an old book page to store stickers. There are so many little crafty projects we get into in this video. If you don’t have a pen pal to send a parcel of too, you can still use these ideas for your personal junk journaling and paper crafting. I mean, I could totally see the dried flower card being used as a tag or glued in as a tuck spot on a journal page. Your imagination is the limit!

I had the idea of using wax seal as a closure since a while and was so happy to come across your video! I don’t have eyelet though, do you think it’ll be OK without? Also the link to Lilou studio is not working

Thanks for sharing these great ideas. Do you have any problems with your wax seals crumbling or breaking off? I’ve been hesitant to use mine much because I thought they would be fragile but yours seemed pretty durable.
I think the wax works best when you heat it up to the point when it starts bubbling. And then I let it cool for a few seconds.
