- So a while ago I noticed that a nearby bakery had made a humongous croissant. So I contacted them and asked if they could make one even bigger...As big as possible...The biggest croissant in the universe no less!
And boy did they oblige! A french pastry stuffed with tons of fresh chantilly cream, strawberries, blueberries and a whole lot of jam...Question is, could I finish it?

Looks delicious. That is some clever Baker. I've cooked croissants and rolling all the dough and butter layers together, folding and re-rolling etc, takes a lot of time. I could see the flakiness in your Giant one..as I say clever baker....who must have an enormous worktop, to roll it out AND an enormous oven. This is also one of my favourite challenges that you've done :)

it is pronounced KROI-SANT in American English, NOT "Quasont"! So yeah, he pronounced it wrong. We speak English not French, we have our own pronunciation for French, Spanish,Greek,German and Latin derived words. For instance, how would you pronounce the following Greek words: Dinosaur, Democracy, Phobia, Narcissism, Europe? Would you use the Greek original pronunciation or the American English pronunciation? Same goes for the word Croissant. Use your common sense, and don't let the smart asses tell you that it is pronounced otherwise.
