I really enjoyed watching your video of the traffic and the semaphores with signal boxes, level crossings etc, all running through attractive countryside Bob. It's good to see that the HSTs are still running in Carmarthshire, and that they haven't all "emigrated" north of the border! It's great to have them running up here, and it seems the sets are being well received by the travelling public. Thanks for a very enjoyable video Bob! Best wishes. Ken.
The scheduled HST passenger services have now finished Ken, the one featured here is for Crew training purposes only, and when that finishes, which will be soon now, then I won't see any HST sets down this part of the World. I'm not surprised that they are becoming popular up there with you Ken, they are magnificent trains, and sadly missed down here. They are still to work for the foreseeable future in this short form on Cardiff to Taunton services....Thanks as always for your support...Best wishes...Bob
It's a wonderful place, that unfortunately is schedules to lose the Box and Semaphores in the next few years Mervyn...such a shame.....Thanks as always...Bob
Thanks for sharing Bob.The Semaphore signals will soon be a thing of the past, like you we still have a few on our route. From my days as a lampman (boy) I noticed these are now electric and not before time......Best wishes Chris
Ferryside is a beautiful location Dave, and to see the trains passing through, operated by semaphore signals, and Bird song all around, it's a great place to be...Bob

Good selection of workings Bob. Great to see the semaphores still in action
Just trying to capture these training HST's as much as I can, because when they finish, then that will be the end of them down here.
Superb railway scenes from a very nice location Bob. Very enjoyable viewing. Regards, Jeff.
Thanks Jeff, I'm so lucky to live in this beautiful area...Regards...Bob

My pleasure Chris, sadly, just a few more years of semaphore signalling left now...All the Best...Bob
I notice the old paraffin lamps have been converted to LED on the signals Bob, another great video.
Well spotted Vince, I hadn't noticed that. The signal by the footbridge has been recently renovated, so the upgrade to LED must have been done then.
Nice salute to start with , and again from the hst , birds complaining a bit LOL , nice one Bob ...

Thanks Paul, those crows have been a feature of Ferryside for years.
Interesting cross section of the trains working in South Wales. Cheers, Dave.
Thanks Dave, not very interesting, but that's all we've got....Regards...Bob

Thanks Dave, a few more years left, then that will be the end of the Box and semaphores....Bob
@@robmasterman Hi Bob,Yes, some call it progress, On the TV some times early morning ,''signalling fault at …...'', Thanks for reply . Dave
Great video as always! The new TfW livery is rather smart I think. Love the GWR era signalling.
Thanks very much Steve, The Red & White TFW livery certainly makes the unit stand out, that's more than the FGW livery does.
Nice video Bob. Still running the crew training HST. Brilliant afternoon filming and capturing a few different DMUs. Best wishes C&A
Thanks both, just popped down to do the HST, but all the others came through within half an hour.....Best wishes...Bob

Sorry Herman, but I don't understand your comment.
@@robmasterman ?
@@robmasterman I was saying i don't see any FGW HST Slam door ones
@@JackTheOfficeWorker My mistake Herman, I mistook the one featured as a slam door version, but it was just a shorter length for Driver Training.
