Initially I thought I was at the wrong place because from the road, the location looked rather small and err…. algae overgrown. Had the drive not been so long and cumbersome, I might’ve turned back. The family I mentioned earlier were running a boat* by the river so for the first time ever at an off-the-beaten-path spot, I felt like I was intruding/ had arrived at a bad time. Nonetheless, they were amicable and my friend & I got some directions to the beach from them and spent some time there first. Along the way we met this elderly gentleman too who lives there and seems to enjoy having visitors.
This is ALLIGATOR POND...This is NOT Guts River big man...Guts River is on the Coast Road along the way to Clarendon leaving Manchester. ALLIGATOR POND is on the Port Kaiser Road leaving New Forest in Manchester. At one end of the beach is Port Kaiser, and at the other end; farther up the beach is Little Ochie.

Yes I grew up in this area and I knew here as alligator pond. Guts river is on the Manchester side where they have the deep he.

Love this place but it isnt Guts River! They call it Alligator Hole River. Eat at Oswald's (half way between there and Little Ochi) or eat there then go in the cool river! Very popular now and have big parties (before virus) down there. Yes very cool and clean.
how can anybody with any knowledge of geography be saying that Guts River is St Elizabeth Mr Reid if you are gonna be doing videos like this to say you are sharing knowledge with people please get facts to support sir Guts River is Manchester
Saved by a man called diver, this bare foot child, like those children diving from where we use to call big jump off and little jump off, all the way from there and now living in the UK 34 years

This is nt guts river this is alligator pond river.... guts river is on the rd opposite the police station travel along tht rd its called coast rd a gud lil distant frm alligator pond guts river has the famous BLUE HOLE alligator pond river dosent

As a child back in the late sixties I was drowning in the sea, thanks for letting me know the name is guts River, i was living on well road new forest
Ok so I was i. Jamaica last week and was determined to find gut river. So we got to alligator pond then headed north on gut river road..so instead of going to likkle Ochie we turned left to gut river road. We screechie through some pieca road but were determined. We could not find it! We stopped when I heard laughing at a spot...there were men chilling at a spot that I've seen in pics so I tght this was gut river. But I didn't see what I'm seeing in the video. Because it was only women and children I came out the car and peeped over and asked the men where was gut river...one said to turn around and make the first left. When I did that we saw an unkept sign saying Gut River..we drive into an unkept bushy area which is not what this video shows. We can out the car thinking it would open up to the initial image in ur video... no way. This place was abandoned..there was a river yes but looked as though alligators lurked there. I think the men did not want us there, that may have been the reason for the chuckle at the end of his directive. We decided not to return to the men..young men bout 7 a Dem a swim..hmmm I digress. As we were leaving we encountered 2 more men who were heading there and said we would have to park our car and walk down there...hmmm not! The video you posted showed area to park etc. So my question is..is it past likkle Ochie side? We were so disappointed especially the kids. Pls advise.. anyone

That's alligator pond river not guts river you have to drive pass through alligator pond square take the left and drive about 5r6 miles to guts river
