This is one of the most entertaining podcasts in a while. Great content to bring up the rear of this week of Survivor AU coverage. I was grinning from cheek to cheek throughout. Fantastic season and stellar coverage from start to back.
What a legendary group of podcasters! I am Team Talking Tribal, Team B&B, Team Traitors and Team Club Condo (I had to list them clockwise, love you all the same!) I agree with pooya. My favorite season at least since the 30s. Top 3 ever and maybe number 1
I hate to compare it but I just have to! AU is just in its own tier and not even close to US
This podcast is so chaotic, I love it.
Another obscure great moment was when Feras's eyes lit up when Caroline said she's be willing to get rid of Winna

Gotta agree with the hype for this season.
& re the comparisons I personally think that the Jeff Probst New Era of Survivor is a Bhanu win away from totally jumping the shark. I get what he's aiming for (as a producer) but it's (imho) barely even the same show as the AU version now, besides the basics.
editing style, production choices, cast, playstyles, risk-taking, mistake-making, JLP>JP, challenges, rewards, idols/trinkets and just good old enjoyment - all of them lift AU so far above US atm it's a bit of a shame. not to mention TWO BIG/NORMAL TRIBES gives room for everyone to try and play, instead of one or two "runts of the litter" getting beaten up across multiple tribes until merge.
with that said i can't not love the OG so even if it IS in it's "Star Wars sequels" phase ima still watch.

Australian survivor ...Kirby is my fav, Feras is my fav. I want Kirby to win, I want Feras to win. Feras......cannot win, Kirby has a remote chance. Cannot wait for the next episode. We lost Frankie on the premiere night and it was hard. But she was the sacrifice to be made for the season to be so so good

Shannon keeps saying that Kelly is sending her a shirt but I listened to that podcast. Kelly never said she was going to send her one. Shannon asked and Kelly did not respond to her request.

Survivor international is better then survivor us. Australia and South Africa’s past few seasons have been SOOOO good and survivor us has… not
So true! Sadly i checked n south african survivor was cancelled. Maybe after they see the momentum of international survivor n other similar challenge type reality shows, South Africa would pick it up again. SAf n Australia challenges are brutal. 😅
Chappell’s point about this season being consistently amazing throughout vs having a couple absolutely legendary episodes in HvV is perfect. It reminds me of my favorite season SA9, which is consistently excellent, but probably doesn’t have any episodes on par with episode 7 of last year’s AU
I haven’t watched SA S9 yet (watched 6-8) because I know practically the whole boot order. Worth watching?
@@thezanycat if you are a fan of SA style editing/ old school survivor, I definitely recommend it. The storylines in the season are amazing, the winner has my favorite winner’s story across both their seasons and the season has all the elements I love about old school survivor. It was even better on the rewatch. I personally found SA to be the best run franchise of the English language seasons
Agreed. I don't think we've hit the highs of HvV last year, but it's definitely been more consistent. And we've got a way better final 5.
