There haven't been "plenty". There have been plenty of sorcerers with the six eyes (whenever one died another seemed to show up) and plenty sorcerers with limitless, however having both the six eyes AND limitless CT is exceedingly rare. I think it's stated to occur once every 400-500 years or so.
Can we take a moment to realise that the entire fight Gojo wasn't aiming to go for lethal blows against Sukuna while Sukuna was because Gojo's goal in the ned was to save Megumi if he went for lethal blows Megumi would die which goes against what he was doing if it was the version of him in Shibuya and I am not talking about in terms of power but in terms of ruthlessness and cruelty Sukuna would have more than likely died to Gojo at Shinjuku level of power
At the start of the fight gojo legit said he didnt care, and why would he use a 200% hollow purple at the start if he didnt intend to kill sukuna in megumis body? If anything, it was the other way around. Gojo was just trying to kill sukuna, while sukuna used mahoraga to evolve him as a sorcerer, he didnt need mahoraga. He was playing very risky vs gojo as he was trying to beat him while trying to evolve his cursed technique. If he fought seriously it wouldve ended in a few domain clashes
