Reminds me of my trip from Harare-Blantyre-Lilongwe-Mchinji-Chipata-Lusaka-Harare back in 2008. I am Zimbabwean and never felt like a foreigner. Friendly people everywhere although I did not know the local languages. I used public transport and everyone I met was happy to help. I did not even have a smartphone then. Passed through Mozambique on my way to Blantyre but the bus did not stop in Mozambique except at the border. I am not rich but I have always had a dream of travelling to all the Countries in Southern Africa. I backpacked my way through Malawi and Zambia on a very small budget and I would spend at least 3 days in each place.
I am planning to travelfrim Harare to Lusaka to Lilongwe to Angonia in Mozambique then Tete and back to Harare advise on transport fees especially Zambia and Malawi sides never been there before.
Tell me something why do buses cover the bottom half or piece of the front windscreen?.. Does that not disadvantage the driver.. And if it actually helps the driver.. How does it do so?
