Hi, indeed. But at a car it's more worden, because everything is more narrow. But never tightrn the Sparkasse plugs at a warm engine, isn't it? Cheers, Axel
Agree with your last blurb. Best to take the tank off and flush it. At least take the petcock off and flush it in place. Feed the stale carb with fuel in a bottle till it is flushed too. Then fuel and a cleaner. Saves having to do the carb over half the time. Oh old gravity fed bikes need a little filter added between the petcock and carb. That petcock screen ain't going to do it.
corvette724. Really good video and will help kids with their first bikes. Wish I saw it with my first CL70 in 1975, has it been that long man. Petcock screens are good when new but they eventually corrode away to powder if they're built into the diptube. If the bike sat forever, a new petcock is a cheap preventative measure. At least look at it before putting the old one back on.
Hi. Great Video! Could You help me. I've bought Honda Rebel 125 1996 from Germany and it's max speed on full throtle is 80km/h. Rpm are fine but accel and speed are no such great like in other Rebels 125. I've heard that it's blocked. Could tell me where exactly? VIN is jh2jc24.... Thanks for You help :)
+MarcinTyraniX , hi, i try. First of all, inspect the spark Plug. If its not brown, but white, the mixture will be to lean. Could depend on float level, or metering jet dimension. I would start with float Level. Probably the Filter Element IN The TANK is CHLOCKED. You can inspect it by loosening the Valve(however) underneath the Tank. Often Rust will Chlock it. Please tell me the results, i try to support. Excuse my english, i`m from Germany. besides, 110km/h should be possible. How much Kilometers?
When I Bought it mechanic have changed oil, cleaned carburetor and set it. I've called him today and he said the there are some blockades when motor is form France/Germany market to minimize speed to only 80km/h. And told me to look for them. Nozzle, spire in carburetor, air intake limiters and maybe Ignition module. Kilometers are 16 000. Looking for a shape it's propably truth. The RPM are going smoothly so I think that module is fine. Or maybe I'm wrong. In intake I've checked there are no blockades. Last thing is to small nozzle maybe.
+corvette724 I've checked Spark plug. The are black. And When I bought it i noticed that without choke the engine starts but choke must me engaged to sustain enegine work. After heatup choke can be turn off. And if Engine is little warm without choke a pull the throttle fast engine stops. To rich of fuel?
corvette724 I have an honda cd200 road master and I want to change its jet my orignal carburetor were stolen and now I am using after market 125cc Carburetor pz26 and now I wannt to do jeting in that
corvette724 mate I was thinking to use 100 main jet with 45 pilot jet what about this idea because drilling apparatus for jet are not available in pakistan
My quad got the same carburator and I tried hours to get it to work before finding this. Done the cleaning now and am excitited for the test tomorrow.
Good luck. If not works, post the kind of malfunktion.
Thanks. I tried, but it still went off, when I put it in first gear. Didn't had the time to try many settings.
Damm this video is totally awesome . just super clear image and detailed is just can't get better. 5 star
+Boris Alvarado thx Boris. Thx for your Feedback.
"working on a hot engine is uh.. well uh it's just bad" 😂

@@corvette724 I learned a lot from this video, thanks Axel
@@wayneisname4544 u wellcomme
looks like a lot to learn about carburettors and motorcycles in general....
+ROY Dean i agree. you never learned enough. Important is, ther is a seperate system for iddling
+corvette724 we all never learn eough

100% agree.

Besides, i made a vid about chemical tank flushing, too. Thx for your kind comments, bro.
Hello . can yo tell me what model carb you are using. My original Rebel carb is no longer working and can't get another one.
It was a keihin carb. I think a 22😊
@@corvette724 Thank you very much for the info
How many of y'all cringed at 4:20 when the dude hopped on the bike with a lanyard hanging from a pocket right next to the chain?
No shit right
The Ultrasonic Method would have worked, but you need to use Gasoline as the solvent, rather than water or a degreaser.
Good idea, thx. But So u vaporize gasoline u better Not smoke during this procedure, don't u? 🤪🤔 Good efforts to your Projekts.

+MarcinTyraniX Problem Solved. Front Sprock was 11 insted of 13....
Can anyone tell me the dimensions of this washer?
Sir what's the stock main jet and pilot jet of this carburetor ? Aand carburetor model ?
+Arrogant StaLLions u can download a 300 pages manual of H Rebell in Internet as Pdf...you have to replace the jets?
corvette724 I have an honda cd200 road master and I want to change its jet my orignal carburetor were stolen and now I am using after market 125cc Carburetor pz26 and now I wannt to do jeting in that
+Arrogant StaLLions so from 125 to 200ccm you need a bit more diameter. Have tried with conical drill tools specially for to widen jets?
corvette724 mate I was thinking to use 100 main jet with 45 pilot jet what about this idea because drilling apparatus for jet are not available in pakistan
+Arrogant StaLLions just try. Try and error. If it don't work we think about sending u a tool set. Nighty.
Wish i found this vid before i cleaned the carb on my bike, woulda been done alot quicker xD
Thx, so the next time it will be easier for you. Important is to change the filter in the tank. You must unscrew the valve in the tank.
