Great Video! Just heard it opened, super pumped! It's only a couple hours (great day trip) away, much closer then Kanuga and more convenient than bear creak overlook/pinhoti. Glad to see it's got a good mix and not just a jump park. Unfortunately my shoulders are shot and can't take the risk of flying through the air anymore.
hahah. Yep. It was extra loose due in part to how little traffic there has been on the trail so far. That will improve over time but I think it'll always be a bit loose as character trait of the area. Riding loose dry stuff certainly isnt my strong point.
@@benwigginsbikes Scary with little traction. We will be down in May. Meeting some Florida riders so we will hit Mulberry Gap, Blankets and Jarrod's. Until then I will be stuck riding DuPont, Pisgah, Kanuga and Berm Park. haha
There is so much more than just the jump lines. The enduro lines are amazing as well. The jump lines has some of the best levels of progression to help people get comfortable with airtime.
Thanks for the preview man!!! Looks killer, maybe a little loosey goosey in places. Maybe some rain this week will help. Will you be at the race this weekend? I’m rolling in from Wilmington, NC on Thursday evening and running solo if anyone doesn’t mind an old man tagging along, it’d be nice to not ride the whole time alone. I’ll be set up camping in a silver Element. Stop by.
Certainly loose for sure but I think a lot of that has to do with how little traffic there has been on the trails so they haven't really bedded in yet. I think it will improve over time. A light rain would certainly increase traction in most areas. Unfortunately I will not be able tome it this weekend :( Its going to be a kickass race that is going to push people to their limits.
Wow man this comprehensive and hilarious video with friends love it... It's about 5 hours away from me but definitely want to get there. Those jumps look huge dude holy cow.
Great upload, sick riding! Gonna have to come down from PA one of these days. Quick constructive criticism, and this is only applicable if you're interested in growing the channel ... People usually stick around from 20-30 seconds before clicking on another video. Mr Beast had plenty of interviews discussing the importance of capturing your audience. Just watch any one of his videos, and you'll see her gets straight into it. I couldn't help but think that when watching your introduction. Personally I'd just right to it and you can add commentary over the video. Place looks sick though, and again thanks for the upload!!
Dude great video keep it up! I am an Atlanta guy so super pumped for this. GA bike park is def needed. Have you been to windrock in tn, or pine mtn or ball mtn in ga? Find it hard to believe you can get steeper than those haha. I am with you I can’t get airtime (nor do I want to really, big man fall hard) but I love some steep tech! Glad they didn’t make this just a jump park like last one.
Im glad you liked it! I would say this place is just as consistently steep as any of the above (Windrock may still have it though) mentioned and a couple of sections may be a bit steeper! You can see my back wheel trying to swap around on me at the 10:00 minute mark.....They are going to be building a bunch more stuff also! I used to be able to jump and will again with practice, at 46 though flying through air at speed is a little terrifying!
Who is excited for Jarrods Place to open? I promise I am going to learn to jump!
Im READY!!
@@TrailFReEK heck yeah man!
Lets freakin go!
Oh my freaking god I can’t wait.
Thank you so much for the sneak peak! I'm pre-riding on Saturday then racing on Sunday. So stoked!
Its gonna be a good race!

I totally get that on the shoulder part! I like to go fast but I usually try to keep it on the ground as much as possible.
Watched this about 4 times already. Can't wait for this weekend!! Great video.
Thanks Saddles!!!! I am bummed I won't make the race but I guarantee you are gonna have a good time!

Looks so sick.
I hear hub, skid, hub, skid, skid, skid, hub, skid, hub, hub, skid, skid and then "damn, that was steep"

Its gonna be a good one! I left a lot of surprises out of the video.
I live an hour away and planning to go ASAP
Holy crap, this place has some massive jumps. As a fellow southern bike tuber, i think i will have to wait to hit this place lol.

You should go anyway! It isn't all about jumps!

do you which trail in the video is Trail 11?
Trail 11 is Local Pro which if I remember correctly is the trail start at the 9:21 mark. I think.
what bike do you ride
I was on a really built up Santa Cruz Megatower during this video. Now I am on Transition Spire.
Jesus hope
You weren’t on a hardtail. I think you cases literally every one 😂. Jk man nice run
yeah man, I am not much of a rider when it comes to big jumps. I prefer technical and fast. Maybe one day though.
