I could tell you about all the late nights I'd listen to this on NU107 while in the darkness of my bedroom and air conditioner on, eyes closed and under the covers, imagining that even with the troubled life I had as a youth, it was nothing and that this song was what literally took me away to another world, along with Who Tease. Whether it was what I'd listen to when hiding from my abusive family, crouching in a corner when bullies at school were looking for me, in the middle of a war zone in Sri Lanka, in the deserts of Sub Saharan Africa, in a car driving on the Pacific Coat Highway with various friends, girlfriends, or alone, wherever I've gone, everyone I know has one way or another discovered your music after they know me. Even after 25 years, I can't stop listening to this song and all your albums, and I don't know how to convey how much your art means to me. Even writing this is difficult because I can't convey that feeling of how much this has helped me all my life since I heard you on the radio one day when living in Manila.
