EFFECTIVE VEINING CHECK LIST
- If veining clay let it NOT be super fresh or it'll stick
- If veining Sugar, let your gumpaste be as fresh as possible, warm it between your palms before placing in
- Roll out thick enough for the thread of veiner texture but not so thick that the shape spills out
- do allow enough wire thickness, most undergo and struggle
- Petal Base your veiner to secure the position ( you can always carefully dust it over if any shine is a 'no-no'
- Make sure top and bottom points align at the seam
- Bend your wire to veiner's shape in advance or else it might poke out
- Lift your shape very carefully from out inwards
