@@LemonMeIon Maybe it sounds bad for you, but it works well for me. Even others used the JB with great results, from Eddie Van Halen to Syu from Galneryus.

I'm a SD user but I'm utterly tired of its "warm", sterile, muddy sound. I Always need to aply major eq changes in my signal when I record with SD pickups. Quantum's character fits nicely my taste and music style (mostly black metal). I like brightness and definition.

I couldn't get the quantums out of my guitar fast enough. Theyre great for cleans but harsh and muddy with high gain.
JB wins, hands down. The clean tones sound warmer with character.
To me JB sounds muffled as if tone is rolled down.

@@BillPrimo Nothing wrong with JB. One could also argue Ibanez sounds too compressed and ice picky. It all depends on what you’re going for.
