Dear Daddy Cornstar, What a Terrific Testimony of your Character. I see where your boys get their work ethic... from a great father figure! You and your children reach others lives with your U-tube Video's. Keep up the great work.👍
Our son drives a concrete mixer truck, sometimes he delivers to the cemetery for the stone to set on. He says he will have his lunch sit on the ground and visit his grandparents grave. I think that is so sweet to have him do that.
Thank you for all the care and love you show for the graves of the Loved ones lost.
Wish we had more Daddy Cornstars❤
Daddy Cornstar you work for the Lord and will hear him say WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT🤩👑🔥💯🕊
It amuses me when you say "behind the scenes" at the cemeteries. But I am sure no protests saying that.
Love you DC as you truly have respect for the families of the departed
It's harder to keep a good name than to lose it. Unfortunately, too many think their problem is always caused from someone else.
You are such a kind man. Blessing to you.
Daddy CornStar, I appreciate your care for the loved ones that visit the graves of their loved ones passed. I am anticipating a burial very soon in Ohio of my Aunt. She will be greeted by her Savior, and be in Heaven soon. There is the practical process that comes with burial, and I have always appreciated your families approach to honoring the families in your community. In His Service, Todd
Was over at our cemetery today Daddy Cornstar visiting my Dad who has been gone 7 years today. Watched another family sitting just over in the next section having a beer with their brother who went last year. Family. Great video from a guy who cares!
Your RESPECT for the families and their loved ones is awesome. Respect is measured in action and not words and this video shows just that…you are the Man!!!
The families of loved ones must appreciate the care you take of all the cemeteries.
I filled in my husbands grave because it had sunk so much! I used a shovel and a 5 gallon bucket. This is a very small country cemetery in Oklahoma. Thank you for everything you do.
I admire your care of these cemeteries, and the respect you have towards family and loved ones of those.❤
Amazing to see someone who has an old fashion work ethic AND TAKES PRIDE IN THEIR WORK. Goes above and beyond what is required. Good job!
Daddy Cornstar - the people in your area are so fortunate to have you doing this work - it does go unnoticed but it necessary and proper to do. Your pride in doing the work correctly and respectfully shows just what your true character is. The area is indeed very fortunate. Carry on, may Grace be with you.
What you do is so important. Grief and Remembrance doesn’t need to be more challenging because of a negligent groundskeeper. Thank you for what you do.
You are to be commended for your work and care you do at the cemeteries that have been entrusted to you! I’m sure the families appreciate your time and work you spend . Thank you for caring ❤
I'm glad you made this video, I can recall when I was homeless and faced with many things in Life until $75,000 biweekly began rolling in and my Life went from A homeless nobody to a different person with good things to offer!!!!!❤️
That's lovely 🌹if I may ask, How did you come up with so much biweekly ?
@@LuisMorgan-hc1pdIt's Leslie Ann Zoerb doing she's changed my life. A BROKER- like her is what you need.
$_700k and yet still counting on. Leslie Ann Zoerb is the kind of person one needs in his or her life to be honest ❤️❤️❤️>>>>

I know that woman (Leslie Ann Zoerb)

A big hello from a small town Thurles in Ireland 🇮🇪
Hi DC....you always do a great job at the cemetery... hopefully rain will grow the grass seed ... that's all you can do.... Blessings to your Dad's grave and Cooper's friend .....Nice weather you are getting..it's nothing but constantly raining here ..damp....wet....growing weeds...wet lawn can't mow it..... take care..... Deborah 🇨🇦
You're a star, keep shining bright!
So much love and respect for your family. You are such a great Christian family.
Im thankful you do this for the community. You’re a good corn star dad.
Beautiful video. I’ve learned so much about what I once considered a “weird” job but now understand actually one of the most natural and necessary jobs humans must have is grave-tending.
I also love your family’s “Circle of Life” being both farmers and gravediggers means you plant life into the soil from its beginning to end.
Families can filll their own families spots too. Too many people think that someone else must do it.
I have planted 1000’s acres of lawns. When you use oats or wheat , they will rob the grass seed of moisture. Perennial rye grass is a better cover. It germinates about 7 days after rain the Kentucky blue will take up to 30 days and will burn off in high temps. For the hard ones try seeding in late august when the nights begin to cool off. Great video!
Great video, D.C.!
I live near Kansas City but have many family members in Iowa cemeteries that I enjoy visiting. I wish their sites were all as well taken care of as the ones you and your family care for!
The cemetery work videos really highlight the care and compassion that you and the family put into it. It's easy to see a farmer's passion for farming, but these videos show that you're some of the best humans even when you are alone and away from the farm.
Those managing the cemeteries are lucky to have such a good family of partners!
Daddy Corn Star you are such an amazing man, very honorable and respectful to all the graves. Too many people forget to keep the graves looking nice and out of respect ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Daddy Cornstar, you have a big heart.😊
I was born in December 1966. I’m the youngest of 6 boys. There was one more boy after me, stillborn in January 1971. My mom had gotten sick about 7.5 to 8 months into her pregnancy. I would have loved to have had a little brother to play with when I was young. My next older brother is almost 5 years older than me. I was puzzled by my parents just putting on his gravestone “Baby Walker” with no official first name. My brothers and I from first to last are: Brian, Bernie, Brad, Ben, Blaine & Boyd. We also go by B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 and B6. I live with my 87 year old mom and I believe I have asked her before what name my parents had picked for my little brother who was stillborn but she has never told me. My mom has declined a bit in the last 18 months.
Thanks and GOD BLESS 😀
On the west coast we will rake the ground where we’re trying to to get the grass to grow before we seed. Kinda break up the crust. Then rake it again to mix seed into the ground
"They have 10 kids and wanna loose 3 " D.C you always make me laugh. I'd be honored to be put in one of the cemeteries you care for.
Well done good and faithful servant
God bless you, DC.
Always entertained by your content, it's awesome!
Thank you‼️🙂👍🏻 for going above and beyond for the grave sites for your costumers.
I get it. I used to do that for two cemeteries. It got to be they thought the graves should be leveled and planted to grass right away. I tried telling them that it just doesn’t work that way.
I’m glad there are people like you who take care of Graves. We have a place out at the lake that has an old graveyard next to us and it’s still active and whoever takes care of that is amazing because it’s so beautiful it kept but it’s a small little graveyard.
The bin site crew sure could learn a thing or three from DC and pride for your work and going above and beyond. Ya know, instead of building a million dollar shop of horrors.
Your one in a million D C. .
Not many now days take the
pride that you do. THANK YOU !!!
Thank you, Daddy Cornstar, for your thoughtfulness for the families and friends for whose cemeteries you care.
This is a great video. The way you explained these issues is very helpful. When people pass away, it’s just so overwhelmingly emotional. You are the calm, logical side of this continual process. 🙏🏻❤️
Are you sowing bluegrass seed at the cemeteries. If so, on the graves where the grass needs some help, but it hasn't sunk, you could get a plugger to plant plugs of grass. Bluegrass spreads so it may fill in better than seeding in the spring.
I love the respect for the family , I saw where your touching up graves and seeding ,I notest that your not working the seed into the dirt so the seed can take hold ,plus I don't see any straw on top of the repairs you made
You’re a very kind , good man . May God Bless you and your family .🙏🏻❤️
As You described. Pride Of Your Work. God Bless 🙏
I used to be sooooooo afraid of cemeteries. I couldn't even look at them. Both my parents passed away 8 yrs ago and I felt awful because I couldn't go to the cemetery. Now I can go, but never alone. D.C. thank you so much for being so caring about doing a great job.❤
try stapling straw mat over seeding, it holds moisture much better.
Wishing you and your family the best, thanks for sharing your off the farm activities. Truly a service that means more the the money you earn at it.
It may not be easy, but it is one that is needed..... thank you for what you do
A side that a lot of people don’t understand and don’t think about unless they have a family member who has to go there.
What is a Collum Packer and a Grain Drill? Starting about 8:50 I have no idea what you're talking about. 😃 Nice to see you out taking care of people's loved-one's graves.
Extra care is your middle name, God Bless😊
Thank you for all that you do. You are a beautiful person.
Old school values. Love and respect.
Much respect DC!
I wish you took care of the cemetery where my family members are placed. It is a very old cemetery with family placed from the 1700's. It's not very well taken care of. My oldest brother goes down and takes care of our parents, grand parents, and great grandparents plots as best he can.
Thanks for all your hard work DC.
Hey DC, for graves where the dirt is level, but the grass seed didn't grow well, you could take a garden rake and scratch the ground about a half inch or so deep to loosen it up, then sprinkle grass seed and rake it in.
The cemetery where several of my relatives are buried has nice black dirt on the top layer, so the grave digger piles the back dirt separate from the clay dirt. They use the black dirt on the top layer of the graves, which makes it easier for grass to grow.
Too bad those cemetery districts won’t buy and stockpile a small pile of composted cow manure to top dress those newer burial sites. Back when I helped from time to time as a pre-teen and teenager we actually cut and set aside the sod to put it back. The caretakers usually probed land staked prior to us curing the sod. I spent numerous afternoons and evenings donating labor.
D C you are a kind and caring man thank you
A very touching video. You are one of a kind. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you Daddy Cornstar god bless you 🙏💕🥰
DC, I just love all of y'alls content! Makes me smile when ain't much around here to smile about. Got diagnosed with Lung Cancer in April. We finally have approvals from the insurance company and a plan for treatment. 5 days a week chemo and radiation for 6 weeks and then immune thery for a year. I pray often for y'all and you magnificent farm. If ya get a chance talk about me to our savior. 64 is too young to go away. God Bless y'all and those beautiful baby's. Thanks for sharing your story with us!🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🇺🇸🇺🇸🤠👋
gosh that's a grave undertaking!
Pride in your work is what it’s about, I run a business in remote areas where supervising is difficult so it’s dependent on individuals pride in their work. 8/10 people mess up their name in no time. Do what is right when no one is looking.
Nice work on the grave yard you really take it seriously, don't forget if you see Sable have her give us shout out I know she's busy.
Always fun to watch your videos.
YOUS GUYS ARE FINE FOLKS
I dug sewers as a kid and the main thing is time. It takes at least 4-5 months for the site to settle, depending on the amount of rain/snow.
I really respect you and your family for doing what you do.
DC is the kind of guy you want in your community!
You’re a good man, DC. A very good man.
Thank you for doing what you do. You have a big heart, Daddy Cornstar. ❤
Thank you.
Good job, great behind the scenes on your other business.
Heart warming video, thank you, sir. ❤
You definitely have shown respect for the deceased.
My grandpa is buried in Vinton im so sad i haven't been to see him 😢in forever
Good on you D.C. !!!
Nice work there today, DC ! 👍
I'm sure the families appreciate it.
You do good work !,
Getting done on cemetery God bless you for that.
I don't know why, but I've never put any stock in cemetaries. I have plenty of family and grandparents buried. I guess I don't consider them there. But I recognize that to some people it's the world. I know plenty of people who have serious issues when their flowers get moved or picked up. But it all seems so foreign to me. I don't plan on going in the ground when I pass. Nope. I'm going back to the ocean.
You have such a good heart❤
❤ DC I ALWAYS ENJOY WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS AND THE CONTENT.
KEEP EM COMING.
You are just one of the nicest man on UA-cam ❤️
