Hey man, I love Wall-E too, but I noticed something that doesn't quite add up. Wall-E happened in 2805, Hercules was around 1200-1300, and Encanto was in the 1950s. Here are a few things that don't seem to fit: 1. The plant that can supposedly go 700 years without changing seems unlikely. 2. If the end was supposed to happen, it wouldn't make sense for it to be 1,605 years away. I loves this theory though, keep up the good work man!
I actually just thought about it but the plant in encanto is older than walles plant so it's possible he went to the location walle would be at 1000 years later and left the seed to be found. Since he can see where walle would have been. Just a fun fan theory
I’m more shocked that that plant lived for Hundreds for years, a complete environmental collapse, being buried in a pile of garbage for god knows how many years, and then finally through all the bullshit that happened to it on the spaceship…. And after all that still hasn’t fucking bloomed.
Wasn’t the world of Encanto an enchanted land that was opened up and allowed people in by their grandma during some sort of war/revolution back then? If anything that was just a magical plant conjured up by one of their relatives with powers.
Plus that plant would've grown like crazy and would have been planted in the dirt to grow. The time discrepancy makes it moot. Ergo, easter egg like you said.
I can see Hercules and Bruno because in Encanto when Luisa starts singing she also refers back to Hercules saying what if he didn't want to fight cerberus when Maribel starts questioning her. Good good catch
Well did you know that Mirabelle from Encanto actually has superpowers too. In the song 'Waiting for a miracle ' you'll see she's singing in bullet time, while everyone is slow. Meaning she has superspeed!
Bruno, I speculate at least, not only can see the future but is doomed to live to see it because he's constantly reborn into a new body but same memory and ability. However, he doesn't live in a linear time line, his timeline loops back over itself many many multiples of times and what he's seeing as all futures are the collective memories of all the lives he's lived that span the current life in Encanto.
Also, the grandmother in Coco is related too, when the party is beginning and the guests are arriving, there is an old lady that looks like that grandmother in Coco, and the time period too matches.
I always thought on wall-e how that plant would have survived because it was hidden in a refrigerator from the the dark. Plants need water, soil and sun to grow. But now I understand. It was because it survived by magic powers from Encanto some how.

This could actually work! The plant was originally Brunos and housed in Casita. Bruno spent a lot of time in the walls of the family house, so had a special affinity. When he saw the devastation of the future, he knew life needed to return to it. His first attempt to send the plant into the future, threw him back into the past, instead. Taking his clothes as well. Bruno lands in a stone pillar (a la Casita) and is so delirious, he can only shout "the end is near", per his vision. He is able to return to his present time again, and devised a new way to bring life to the future. Casita! The house he spent all those years in the walls with, searching for a place to belong. He just needed someone in the future to awaken his special abilities again. Enter Wall-e! As he goes about his business, tidying up after others, the garbage disposal unit starts collecting trinkets that capture the spirit of Casita. The more he collects, the more Wall-e becomes Casita. Or really, the spirit of Bruno. Tapping into the desire to belong to a family and home. When Wall-e starts appreciating musicals (like Encanto!) the plant is brought to life in the fridge. Somewhat like how Casita was able to fix things that were once destroyed. So Wall-e is the love child of Casita and Bruno. In spirit. Casita made a home for Bruno, even when everyone else in the family rejected him. So life returned to the future, for a new generation of human home builders - looking for a place to belong.
