@@KolbotForever Actual, original discs. It's okay though. I got it working. I have two copies of LoD, one that is a first print version, and one that was printed in 2007 (I believe). Turned out that the 2007 disc, for whatever reason, was the culprit. My original print ran just fine.

@@KolbotForever yes. So the pop up to play d2 lod comes on but whe. You click play it says insert disk into cd Rom. Yes I am on win 10. I even made a cd using the iso and get the same thing. I uninstall and reinstall using the ISOs and same issue.
I installed diablo 2 using my original LoD CD's and did the full install, downloaded the 1.14d update and I get this message...This patch cannot be applied because it is for a different version of the game. ???

Hello, how can i fix the issue with Stalling? My Bot kills Andariel Nightmare and after the Run it say "Stalling for 25 Seconds" I solo bot without other bots, just 1 character
I lost the installation disc so I only got one left. I got the disc you put in to play, but I got a new pc so I have to install the game again is that possible without the installation disc?
You can if you find an "ISO" image of the disc. Torrents or even some websites I'm sure have them. Then if you have windows 10 you just double click and mount it and it should work fine. If you have an older windows you will need something like power iso in order for that to work.
hello...i got the classic diablo 2 on orig disc , to make it work i need a classic patch but what is the best one and where do i find it ? i am running windows 10 and i do not have lord of destruction
@@KolbotForever Depending on when the idea for Diablo Resurrected was cultivated it does matter. Reason being is that if the files got removed shortly after the decission for resurrected was made, then plans to do something similar as with warcraft III reforged are already in motion. Essentially starving the original version to sell the new version.

@@danesmith8339 you download the d2 classic patch? it has to be the d2 classic patch if you only installed classic that might be the issue. Also run the patch as admin. If it still doesn't work place the patch into the diablo 2 folder and then run as admin. GL
@@KolbotForever Sorry for the delay! I downloaded the 1.06 patch, and followed your directions (way back when), but still wouldn't work. Just BARELY (today), I right clicked the patch, and ran as admin. The patch did its thing, so I started the game. It didn't seem like it was going to work, BUT IT DID!!! Idk what made the difference, but I got it to work! Thanks a bunch!
2021 August 19 - it worked as shown - thumbs up !!!!
My LOD disc install won't even complete. It's gets to 71%, then asks me to re-insert the LOD disc, and then refuses to recognize that it's in.

My lod cd broke In my move. I have the iso backed up but when I try to play from the iso it was a cd how do you get past that point.
When you load up the iso it doesn’t work? Are you on windows 10?

since blizzard took down the patches im really not sure anymore I was lucky to find the lod patch

Will I have to buy Lord of Destruction, to get Diablo 2 to work on Windows 10?
No classic will still work you would need a classic patch however if you want to patch to a new version or play on battle.net

16 digit cdkeys will works if they are redeem?
if you redeem use the 26 digit they give you. Kolbot will work with either the digital install provided by blizz only works with 26 digits

I don't think the patch process will work right anymore. I would download 1.14d patch from the net and then it will work just fine.
