Jazmin you are incredibly strong. To continue a program when all you want to do is just cry-either because you’re in pain or you’re rightfully upset that this isn’t a good showing of all your hard work, or maybe both-it makes you so tenacious to get up and finish strongly with a smile. I can’t even imagine being in that position. Do not worry, it is very clear, no matter your score, that you are a hard worker and deserve to be a senior skater. You deserve to be at sectionals. Every element you did looked strong, even if you fell on it. You are so beautiful and so talented! In the future, please know if you’re in pain you don’t have to fight through it to finish your program. Back injuries shouldn’t be messed with so always listen to your body! I’m not sure how severe your injuries are so maybe it was ok to skate through but just know you wouldn’t be any less strong of a person or skater for stopping a program for your health. I also just want to say your positive attitude, and the way you carry yourself in your kiss and cry’s is so mature! The past few days I have seen some people act very poorly in the kiss and cry’s but you have always remained as positive as possible and it’s such a good showing of your character. I wish you so so much success in future skating endeavors! This can only make you stronger! I’m so sorry! I hope you recover soon!
Good try Jasmine! That really looked like it hurt, and if that were me I probably wouldn’t finish, but you finished and landed a clean double flip and double lutz!
I took a long break from skating for a while. At the time I couldn’t really do solid one foot spin entrances/one foot spins in general. After months without coaching I tried entering the spin and I fell on my tailbone. It hurt like a bitch but someone had come over and asked me if I was ok so I forced myself to get up. I skated it off for a little bit, thought I felt better, tried it AGAIN, and fell on my tailbone, AGAIN. I was gone for at least another month after that. That shit is no joke. It hurts a LOT!!

Beautiful! 😍
You kept going and didn't guy up. Fight on
Also, USFSA you should change the thumbnail. It seems pretty cruel to have the thumbnail be a picture of a skater crying in pain.
