SP Heroic in Wotlk Mage Solo Leveling

I've been waiting for aoe cap to be fixed on beta to play around with these two pulls, before the fix blizzard would tick for twice as hard. Now that it is fixed on its own blizzard is not doing enough damage and we need to supplement the damage with both ranks of flamestrikes.

Gear is full pve t5 and ZA combo, better gear equals more damage you deal in prepatch/wrath. Only option to downgrade gear would be to wear 2 piece Incanters set for even faster flamestrikes. BoED seems like a must to counter bad rng of CC, when mastered you can probably drop BoED and have Evocation as backup in case CC chain is not enough mana.

Spec i run here is full frost, no fire talents and 5/5 clearcast.
Clearcasting is working as intended, each tick has a 1.25% to proc but its multiplied by amounts of targets it hits, this is a wotlk change. Part of clearcasting that might be bugged is that it potentially shouldnt proc on cast which it does at the moment.
Mennu is killed when we are doing heroic SP in a separate clear, after that you can reset all trash by following the simple step:
Invite a second character that is not saved to anything, promote him and log out, he resets. If this bugs out and he cant reset you have to reform the group by exiting SP, leaving group, reinviting a friend who also reloged, entering SP, logging out and passing lead to a friend or second account and he resets.
Second ledge is not the same as gnome ledge. You have to replicate the same exact pattern i showed here:
1) Group up the mobs as best as you can using the hunter kill spot (the spot where they awkwardly walk around the corner giving you time to place blizzards)
2) Jump on the ledge and let mobs come to you, try to slow a few, as soon as you back peddle mobs on this straight rail are in perfect alignment, tap W and place blizzard and all mobs (mobs that were on the straight rail, thats why its so important to group them at start) should be trapped in that blizzard. The moment you lose the W S W S W tempo by droping down you have to fully reallign the mobs, do not try to salvage it, drop down, go up and repeat step 2)

For those wondering you need a 2nd account to log off and reset instance(2nd account must be out of dungeon and can be in raid.) kill the boss log out reset go again.
hey where's the boss. :P JK -- beautiful pull here. Grabbing the far corner pack w/ ele is nice, but I think that was the pack that was coming the other direction on the circular ramp up top. You made it work.

Is there a trick to doing the ledge up and down if your a human? Is it even possible as a human? I can sometimes get them to turn around but other times half the group only will and other times they just won't turn around at all.
It's possible as a male human so visit a barber and become body type number one, it's not as easy as gnome juggle but doable
I'm not playing the game anymore. Wasn't there some nerf so they cannot be continuously slowed or rooted?
They threw the nerfs at everything and after normal groups backlashed that their runs are too buggy with mobs teleporting to you and you to them they reverted the changes only in heroics and kept the snare nerfs in normal dungeons. How they approach wrath and snares we do not know but whatever they choose to do community will find a way around it
Looks great, but it gives half the xp of the Northrend dungeons, the UK pull is far easier and has around 35 mobs, but they all give double the xp and the dragons give quadruple the xp. The run takes 6 minutes and you can go do something else for half an hour. This would be 290k per run or around 1.2mil per hour, while the UK pull is 900k/hour but you have 20-30 min leftover to go and farm some mobs outside or do some quests :D

uk 3 pull is 191349xp with 30mins to spare per hour to quest
for first level only:
1,559,770 per hour in sp vs
956,745 per hour in uk
both will probably get nerfed anyway for launch, blizz just dont want to us to see the nerfs til the very last moment so that we cant prep for it
@@fp_ok do you have sufficient nature resistance gear for gun drak. Is that even possible as solo mage
Solo mage probably not doable until better gear setup, stealth solo classes are probably better for herbing in gundrak but there is no way of knowing how instance herbing will compare to world farming
what is your class(classes) pick for wotlk? still mages or something new?
When blizz warned us about nerfs I took the time to lvl everything and now I'm using the xp buff to level second pairs of characters just in case some big wotlk farm pops up. But in terms what I will focus on it's probably 1. Duo mages. 2. Duo paladins 3. Duo gathering druids, I have a feeling world will be unplayable on mega servers and that I will be forced into dungeons and having gatherers on two separate account to have 10ids per hour instead of 5 would be a big deal

Noob here - you can reset a heroic on same day? Since you killed the boss it just means he’s no longer accessible? Not sure I understand how this works. Also you’re a boss. What is exp per hour?
Yep u can reset trash in an empty id, I pined a comment and also wrote a guide in the description of this viddo
And xp per hour is also in the description, it's the highest xp per hour possible anywhere at 1.5mil for extremely fast mages

Ya heroics are not affected by snare nerfs at the moment so it's doable

@@pavelmyslik4371 if you mean how to jump on the ledge basicaly you dont want to kiss the ledge when you jump, be slightly away from it and almost perpendicular to the ledge and then press W+space and release both buttons and that should be enough to latch on most of ledges in prepatch. and every race and gender can do it

It's similar, hug ledge and parallel to it and angle slightly towards it, don't move when you are blinking and spend some time practicing it on long ledges, not every ledge can be easily blinked up

Heroic slave pens is highest gold per hour for sure. In prepatch it might change as mage becomes three times as powerful doing aoe pulls

What a stupid thing to swing in a stuffy dungeon when you've already run it 300+ times. Go out into the open world to new locations and do quests.
so when you watch F1 on the tv you keep yelling at them "drive a Yugo!"
Reason for sp hc coverage is that no one except asians are doing it, and this instance by far is fastest leveling dungeon for the race to 80. People who do this (if everything remains as is) will be the world fastest 80, but no, i should tell people to drive a yugo and go quest because they spent a year driving formula 1.
