    For all the people asking why the people who fell in the water didn’t just climb out: when you’re exposed to that degree of cold the body goes into shock and you can’t make the movements necessary to pull yourself to safety.

    I once jumped into a glacier lake on a hot summer day and thought I was going to freeze to death in a few minutes.

    Cinematically gorgeous. Historically atrocious.

    This isn't how this battle happened, not even close. The only thing even a little bit accurate is the ice covered lake part but even that is exaggerated. I was so excited for this movie, but if this is how they portrayed Napoleon's greatest victory, I don't want to watch it anymore.

      @josefavomjaaga6097 10 місяців тому +2

      It's so much more boring that what actually happened. The filmmakers took the (long disproven) frozen lake anecdote because it would give pretty pictures, and totally forgot about telling a story.

      @@josefavomjaaga6097No, you doofus. The whole point of filmmaking is spectacle. Historical accuracy be damned. Even Lawrence of Arabia was anything but accurate. But when you have the opportunity to create spectacle, you go all out and that’s Ridley did. And the point of the battle still stands. Everyone wins, except for whiners.

    Somewhere in this mess, Armand d'Hubert and Gabriel Feraud were about to kill each other over a slight ungentlemanly feud that would spark a decade long Duel.

      @Darin.Hilbern Oh I was just joking, that was another movie called The Duellists, a 1977 Ridley Scott film about two french officers serving during the Napoleonic Wars who hated each other and illegally dueled each other over the decades. It's a really good film but not based on a true story unfortunately.

    • @ElliotWright
      @ElliotWright 10 місяців тому +5

      They're wearing wool coats and heavy leather boots, along with all their other equipment (which at the time was hard to remove) - they're simply too heavy to swim.

    Neuron cell memory video of in brain I recorded from my neuron cell and by software change this hero appear also a dead character wanted to show himself as Napoleon. Do you matched height of Napoleon like my height. True video not false. Just real Napoleon face figure they changed by money. But why those personal scene really those women were queen and princesses of that time. Why. My types of kings wives falls in trouble we never shows those. Also was not in video show deals.
