Who in God's name would give a thumbs down to this video? Succinct, informational, to the point! This was the video that I was looking for to help me learn how to solder a clevis! Nice job!
Unfortunately when one tries to do some good in helping others, there are those that just have a lot of hate in the world so in making up for that they just go around disliking what other people are doing when they try to be help. Unfortunately this is a necessary evil of having a good heart in trying to help others. I just go on ignoring it because I know in my own heart what I have done is good.
Using the video and a couple spare rods and tubes, I was able to make joints just like the ones in the video, I am very satisfied that the joints will hold until the crash. Thanks for the great information!!!.

Lol I like the phrase unscheduled landing rather than crash haha
I m contemplating using a clevis to make a throttle connection to a carburetor. Cam these be soldered to a cable ?
Yes they can
What kind of solder did you use? What flux?
I just used silver solder and the ear wax looking plumbers flux available at any hardware store.
