I absolutely NEED that USB Ignition Lock! I already have the Logitech Heavy Equipment Bundle (wheel, side panel and pedals), plus the beacon light from the FS22 Collector's Edition. By the time FS30 comes out I'll have an entire tractor interior in my room...
There's a point where you start cruising FB marketplace and you buy a cheap old tractor. I've had an old 8n now for a year. It doesn't run, but my God I love looking at it in the driveway and thinking I'll fix it tomorrow.
It's like one of those magazines where you get a part each edition and slowly build it over time, but with a game xD
And after that you try real farming and see the wonders of working late and get a real tractor, been there done that :D :D :D
@@ProfessorTravisngl thought you were gonna say go on marketplace buy a cheap tractor and turn it into a sim setup, with atleast the top half of it
@fireerik that's an idea!
I honestly don't care about new crops or better graphics, I want dynamic dirt. Farming has the risk of getting the tractor buried to its axles in wet conditions, it's one of the more challenging things when working a field.
Yeah i dont get why they dont collab with the makers of the mud runner game
Their is mods for that already on pc and ones for dynamic groud pressure(like how much traction and wheels you have on the ground) and honestly the issue with them is it’s not even realistic my quadtrac was getting stuck in a fairly dry field on a high spot without even being in the ground with the bourgault drill,it’s a bit too extreme imo not to mention makes some tractors not even be able to run a piece of equipment because it makes some of them just sit and slip completely because weight in this game ain’t a thing.Everything is super light and can be easily moved you crash into a full grain cart with a tractor that cart ain’t moving much if any lol but on fs22 it just gets chucked, same with bales same thing they don’t have weight stuff accelerates to fast etc so you either go arcade for casuals or hardcore realistic thst some of the community enjoys
100% it’s what I’ve been waiting for as a console player.
Did you miss the part that says “ground deformation” ? I assume that means dynamic soil
@@TimmyTheSnail did you miss the bit where they said that was the thing they were looking forward to?
My guess is that the "Stars Align" DLC will be GPS for all platforms.
Same thoughts here. Would be a bit disappointing if we have to wait untill then. Modders will have their version ready way before that, i guess :)
But to lock GPS behind a paywall? I don’t know about that.
@@SpikyBananas69 yeah, good point. I don't think Giants would do that.
@@MaartenRobijn lol good one, they absolutely would..
@@SpikyBananas69just like real life lol
They seriously need an engine upgrade, this barely looks like an upgrade and they really need some better physics and dynamic terrain.
yeah it's more like a new DLC and new patch that will make every mod incompatible and force you to start over from scratch
A British based map is really overdue
Really? That's all there are on ModHub, both the in-game version and online.
I think Giants may have seen how popular UK maps are
@@rabidbadger5260 you’d think so, it’s a really under represented area of the sim. About time they credited and recognised the efforts of the likes of BulletBill and OxygenDavid
I agree, but tbh I think they know that A the modders will bring them and B I honestly think that Giants don’t believe they could nail it/match the quality of the modded UK maps, so they just don’t bother. Because surely after this many games they would have made one if they actually wanted to. They’re clearly avoiding it
Edit: I replied before watching the whole video 😂 but I still won’t get my hopes up
@@TimmyTheSnail I’d be inclined to agree, I’ve never seen what I suppose you could call “British map quality” in a majority of maps. The people that make our beloved British maps are a genuine credit to our community.
My main hope for this edition is can i dedicate a whole field as cattle/sheep pasture
Absolutely it would be great to pick a field, and be able to drop livestock off at it and water/food troughs
Personally I hope I can crash into my cows and dealive them 😃
The video isn't over until I hear the words "Bye for now."
We don't need one we actually have one
I saw the trailer on TikTok like 2 days ago and thought it was fake but I guess not lol
Yeah same
Same here 😂
It was real for sure
Who would make a "fake" video like that?...
@@TheHrt5 it was not fake it was real some how it got leaked I guess
Asian farming and field irrigation is an interesting direction that shows there's some ambition to go beyond what the game has traditionally been about. I would love to see FS long term local environmental changes and include hostile environment farming. Imagine starting in essentially a desert near a river and having to build out irrigation and infrastructure -- eventually resulting in a lush green productive piece of land. Would finally give a real use for excavators as well, other than just tree harvester platforms.
Its simply corporate targeting for the Asian market.
@@toddblankenship7164 I mean of course but that's a terrible way to look at it. like was adding potatoes farming ONLY to target the Idaho market XD
@@dootthedooter except potatoes are farmed world wide. 90% of all rice farmed is out of Asia and 91% of all the spinach farmed is out of China. Giants is a corporation that makes minor tweaks for each iteration and relies on the mod community to round out the game. I'm not faulting them I'm just pointing out it could be so much better.
@@toddblankenship7164did you know rice is the 4th largest grain crop in the US after wheat, corn and sorghum?
@@Codysdab india and china combined farm 52% of the rice in the world
Funny thing is - looking at the trailer - there are game engines capable of producing those visuals right now, and looking at the provided screenshots you feel like Giants saying 'lets just upgrade the textures'... I see almost no improvement over current version; my Reshade profile gives me a better upgrade tbh :). I'm a sucker for visuals, but let's hope some interesting gameplay features will be introduced/improved. BTW the recent top 10 poll video, that list should be a starting point for Giants going into FS2025 development... again, I'm not very optimistic... 🤞
the cable in front isnt a winch, looks to be for towing. small hint that we probably gona get stuck at some point. awesome
It's probably just cosmetic as there are vanilla tractors in FS22 with similar cables on the models.
@martindixon54 right, a lot of the big articulating tractors have them between the front and rear sections, and the one shown here was articulating as well.
@@TheKittehboi this is what I came to comment
Least delusional farming simulator player
The cable up front actually goes to the back of the tractor and is for pulling out the tractor if it got stuck. You cannot pull a tractor on its front site, because you can risk pulling the engine off or snapping the tractor in half. With the cable running to the back, you pull the load of the implement and help the tractor on a stress free point.
We have a 9590 Rx with a cable and it works lovely because it is always in place compared to our older 9570 R without one and if you get stuck it is a mess trying to get a chain or cable from the front to the underside at the back😂
It is possible pulling newer tractors that have chassis from the front, but not recommended.
The main farmers saw OTHER farmers working with the rice. Do you think this means we might actually get to see other farmers working in their fields? A feature we've wanted for years!
who want working on rice ? Its annoying work :(
@@usczechfarmer1947*Hires worker*
@@usczechfarmer1947I doubt you ever have worked with rice though. Also the game isn't made exclusively for you.
@@usczechfarmer1947 i know it's a simulator but come on man 😅

Hopefully some things will improve with the move away from the older generation of consoles.
That might be why they switched to a new game engine because they arent being held up by last gen consoles.
@@ToxicMinecraftV2 they did not switch to a new game engine its Giants Engine 10
@@Daniel_178 oh did they not make this one in the new giants engine?
@@ToxicMinecraftV2 its giants engine 10 its not new but its updated
@@ToxicMinecraftV2they wouldn't be anyways but ok.
Irrigation, with all the pipe/hose work would be amazing.
Yes! Give me cranberries!
@matt5075 yes and crawfish for the rice field
I know you (and everyone) have done what would you like to see videos and idk if anyone has mentioned this but I think instead of the silly don't harvest in rain you had to take a moisture reading of your crop. So even like a damp morning means you have to wait a few hours to get your harvest in otherwise there is a drying charge instead of a yield penalty.
The seasons mod for FS17 and 15 had this feature and more.
FS22's implementation of seasonal farming was a poor imitation of a great mod.
Danm or just get your own driers with moisture monitoring silos.
Here in the western US we swath grass for seed generally overnight up to about 10am, cutting with a dew is generally considered beneficial.
When swathing fescues the higher moisture content in the early morning hours help to prevent seed loss known as “shatter”.
@@tfsalpha9161 I didn't know that. These games are a great platform to teach the general populous these kinds of things. But it could become so complex and niche that no one gets it or cares to learn it. So I guess they have to walk that line.
@@ZmbiBglz agreed! As an ag mechanic I can tell you with absolute confidence there is too many small details, tasks, tricks and different ways of doing things that it is beyond impossible to put it all into a game. Even attempting to build an actual training simulator like nasa would use would be impossible. Of the five farms I deal with almost every day each one does the same thing a different way.
It should implemented in the base game more classic farm machinery like the 6620 Titan and Titan II Combines and 4450 tractors. Along with that era it would be nice to have time appropriate grain trucks like Chevrolet C60 & C65. I'd like to see a bit more finite speed control implemented. So far I can set speeds at 1-0.5 mph; I'd like to set in tenths of a mile per hour. With older equipment like the 6620 I'd like to operate the combine in a more accurate range. If memory serves correctly the overall average harvest speed for that machine was 2.3 mph. Also not sure what the corn picking animations look like in the new game but Giant really needs to work on it.
If there isn't a serious overhaul to the field terrain or vehicle mechanics, I have no plans on buying... I've bought every single game since FS13, FS22 is so stable and does what it does so well, so why buy a new game that does the exact same thing.
Graphics, lots new machines, maps, new mechanics, etc
@@KK001 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL ... you are either blind or naive
Curious about “new mechanics”or the “dynamic ground deformation”.
But will stay rather pessimistic.
Honestly nothing has drastically changed with the game which was kinda expected, graphics may have improved a little but I feel the engine is what’s holding them back at this point.. Let’s hope the base maps are decent and the selection of equipment is good!(let’s pray they don’t have 10+ 3m wide cultivators and seeders again) terraform looks like it got added I’m wondering if they are just using the code from the mod or not 🤔
I would really love to see the used machinery section completely re designed. At the minute you have to hope that what you need is in the 4 or 5 slots allocated. It would be much more fun and realistic to have a second hand shop, to be able to buy much more used equipment and machinery. And obviously with that comes more hours, paint damage, and more maintenance required.
i think the screenshots look pretty much like 22. the fog is a nice addition but any DOF needs to go, if that doesnt have a toggle then its a dealbreaker. imagine if it looked as good as the cinematic. like other games these days do.
they don't change engine, and probably will not do that.
@@redragon9588 ofc they wont. fs is like the fifa games. sell the exact same game over and over. volymetric fog and rice farming could have just been an update imo.
Chris Hulsbeck used to write music for old games way back when, starting with the Commodore 64 I believe.
If you grew up in the 80's playing games, you heard his music

If there's no dynamic ground this time then I'm done with FS.
👋
Then you're probably done.
✌️
No you won’t
The most interesting thing to me is the ground deformation I doubt it’s dynamic ground, and the screenshots seem to support this but what could it mean
Look up the mod called multi terrain angle it pretty much makes the plowing and stuff look smoother and allows it to go in different directions. That is my best guess as it is already a mod. It also could just mean they added the terra farm mod to the game, which does not seem like that big of a deal as long as you are on pc
It would be cool to see American bison in the game as well
9:48 of there would be mud, they would have to implement winching to keep it realistic
I’m just hoping things actually improve, and it’s not just more of the same with mods they stole and incorporated themselves
Who cares aslong as its a core function. Id like to actually be nice to have a mechanic truck to fix machines
The "The Stars Align!" DLC icon kinda looks like it might be a tire in a rut. So could it be a dynamic ground? 🤔
That's what I thought as well
Russell crowe has become a farmer it seems
Farming Simulator 25 looks really great and I cannot wait for it to be released! It could definitely be a possibility that they are adding winching into the game. As I'm sure most of you remember they did make a winch mechanic for trees in the Platinum Edition of Farming Simulator 22 so if they add winching into Farming Simulator 25 it would make sense. Also if they are adding winch mechanics, maybe there is a possibility of us getting stuck in the fields which could also tie into the probability of them adding Dynamic ground or flooding. As far as the water pumps to flood the fields to plant rice it would also make sense because of the Pumps and Hoses DLC in Farming Simulator 22.
I think that the stars align from the season pass might be dynamic ground. Both the picture and wording hint to this. But I'm probably just coping.
I agree with that one maybe a tie in with Mud Runners because they pritty much own the rights to ground deformation drive into the Map could be a simular thing .again a feature from the Mud Runners Games is the ability to drive from one map to another from my understanding of that series.
A feature that would be handy if you were managing several maps at the same time with out the need to go via the menu screen.
Ground deformation is the one thing that as kept me away from the game since 2016.
After Spintires gave us mud and different ground types, it is much needed in FS though how hard that is to add while simulating crops and other parts of the game, I have no idea how complex that across multi platforms to add in the game.
But I will keep an eye on how FS25 develops.
@clockdva20 cattle and crops was a good proof of concept. A bigger studio could definitely pull off fully dynamic ground with an engine change or massive re work of the giants engine. Especially since most of the staff for cattle and crops were ex giants staff.
I hope one day it actually looks like this, anyway... looking forward to November farming
The fact that they are introducing Macdon swathers and swathing to the game I assume the North American map with “open spaces” will be a Canadian map.
I'm really hoping so. Edgewater Sask. Is a great map and I think one set in Alberta would be even better
Could also be Montana or North Dakota just have to wait and see
I feel like it will be more down south
I would love to see a base game Saskatchewan map, its always awkward trying to fit my IRL equipment onto smaller european and southern US fields
Love these types of informational videos daggerwin - please continue them!
When I saw underwater fields, the first crop I thought of was cranberries. I wonder if someone will figure out a way to incorporate them into the game.
Can't belive it's been 10 years. I started playing fs15
Cant help but feel that the difference between the cinematic trailer and the gameplay shots is far too much of a delta. I understand that cinematic trailers are only to build hype, but with todays game engines there is no reason to not have in-game graphics the same as the trailer (other than development cost of course)
Oh my, really want scottish map!
9:44 it’s a tow cable on the Claas 12.650 tractor. In the event you get stuck the cable runs the length of the tractor to the back and the pulling tractor attaches a chain or better yet tow strap and pulls you and the implement out. Cheers🇨🇦
Ohhh yeah nice birthday present for me :) Whoop Whoop!
With rice fields, fingers crossed for a cranberry bog DLC somewhere down the road.
Need that USB Ignition Lock! Awesome with the beacon from FS22!❤
I hope/wish there are crop dusters for planting and application of fertilizer and seed rather than just transplant. Crop dusters are a much faster way to farm and it would be fun. on the other hand it would bring in a whole new flight mechanic to the game and we would need an airfield as well as a big enough map.
We are FINALLY getting rice!
I've been doing rice since 17 (maybe 15? I don't remember if I had a 15 rice map)
Had a glorious rice map in 19 (Brazil). Even though it had water it didn't actually effect anything.
I hope this map makes the water count for something.
Are we finally getting REAL mud? Been waiting for that forever fingers crossed!
FS22 was hit or miss with me. It just wasn't that revolutionary to me. Yeah it has seasons, but I always had a seasons mod so no big deal. I waited I think like 3 or 4 months before I bought FS22. Which is odd for me I usually Day One it. But FS19 had my best maps and I wanted to stick with it, and there was nothing new TO ME in 22.
I'm am quite excited for FS25, looking forward to my first real experience wet farming. Maybe we can even get cranberries!
I was hoping for rice especially since rice is an important food here alongside wheat
@@randomtanker4355 I think it should have been done sooner. But I guess the technology to do it properly just wasn't there.
@@greyshadow9498 hmmm.... i was wondering if there are (by any chance) pesticides included in this game lol
@@randomtanker4355 As far as insects? No.
They do have weedkiller though.
the implements in the Platinum version of 19 came to 22 base game, being the sugarcane harvesting. so if i were to guess the implements in 22s platinum will be coming to 25 as standard and the winch is part of the logging side made better for the whole game and may be used as a "get out of mud" option if it can strap to trees or another tractor
would be cool if you can see the neighbors working on their crops, add more animals, dogs, cats, bugs, birds, tractors should have damage if you scrape it or dent it, fix your tractor engine, flat tires, drill blade replacements, etc lol realistic weather, realistic water on equiptments
saw the video went to buy the collector's edition "Currently not available in the selected country", I live in Australia... guess I will have to hope and pray and try again later this week
Same here in the US
I got chills for that poor chicken lol... also I can't believe I CALLED IT! we're getting Rice!
The winch could mean you can get stuck in wet weather from the dynamic ground
"Dynamic ground" can mean just a 2D texture for tyre tracks, it's possible they do just have a 2D texture that appears when driving over dirt of different softness, it might not actually have a proper dynamic system, actual dynamic systems are very taxing on consoles including the new PS5 and Series X
*inserts the "Shut up and take my money" Futurama gif* Yeah time to save up xD
Maybe I'm over thinking it, but Dive in to a new map - Scotland setting, could we be getting some form of fishery / fishing / aquatic elements?
Cows look like Shetland /Highland Cattle
Really looking forward to this AND it's released on my birthday!!
Is it just me or does the graphic for the stars align look like a wheel deforming the mud under it? Could it be that dynamic ground is coming but won't be fully implemented straight away.
12:50 Angus limousine and charlious by the look of it
It's missing furikake.
But also, I'm not sure it showed a whole lot of new things. Japan and the cow, rice farming, cool, motorcycles branded to Aprilia, which is kind of alright, I guess. But otherwise, I've not seen anything that would hint at any significant changes. Not that you can really tell engine change from a cinematic trailer.
There’ll be way more features hopefully this is just the start of the trailer
they dont normally show much off in the cinematics anyway theres probably gameplay at farmcon next month
For sure. It was more of a what can we glimpse in the cinematic trailer.
I was also hoping for GPS or similar..
Pre ordered the year 1 edition cant wait for release
I still find it interesting that its taking this long for giants to even mention deforming ground althou we havent seen dynamic ground from them yet, Whilst Astrogon, back in 2013 with their Agricultural Sim had dynamic ground, And yes i know i will say it had its fair share of technical bottlenecks but atleast dynamic ground was there.
Althou dispite this i am excited for 25 especialy with the texture improvements as well as new machinery and finally a swather in the base game
Rice is a huge crop in Arkansas in US as well.
No dynamic ground? Hopefully GPS will come to main game
And now i need a new pc before November. Mine just wont do that on max settings. :( The cow on the left looked very much like a highland cow.
The grass colour/texture is finally good. No silly flowers in it and it’s darker 😍
Can’t believe it’s coming out on my birthday!
I wanted to do East Asian farming for quite a while now! And finally they added it!!!
That’s highland cows on that cover Dagwin
Ive been watching Daggerwin since 2017. Im very happy he has a new release coming.
Looking forward to it! As a fan of Asian culture in general I'm glad to see some of it coming to FS.
Really looking forward to this. To bad I probably won't be able to buy the collector's edition because Giants chooses to only make it avalible in select countries. At least that's what they did with FS22.
Hopefully the graphics look better want it comes out
awesome really looking forward to adding this to my collection love the usb ignition idea so cool
Italian rice map or any map with rice gameplay will be fantastic, but one thing we need: terrain physics
Nice that they continued with the father daughter duo
Edit: can't wait for you to do a video on the 16 bit version
It is too bad they can't make an open, persistent server map for a true type co-op where anyone can play. Each person can choose to be a Farmer, or a Vendor. Balancing and monthly cycles would be difficult to get right. But I think it'd be fun to have a like 50 people work a full map.
Genuinely happy that its not being limited by old gen consoles
It wouldn't be anyways but ok.
Any news, rumors or tidbits on support for even larger map sizes? Would love to see some better support for absolute huge maps.
I will sure be pre ordering it really soon
One of those moo moo's (far left) looks like it could be a Highland.
Looks good. Whej is next challenge multiplayer coming out chainsaw uploaded his hiurs ago lol
9:41. That cable is for a stuck tractor. Secure attachment point.
Now imagine if you could build an international farming conglomerate. Instead of just playing 1 map you could open additional map areas as part of your empire. Grow feed in one map and supply your livestock farms in addition to trading on the market. Contract to supply to schools or resturaunts or commodity traders, etc. There's more to farming than just plowing fields.
Probably a dumb question, but does the collectors edition come with a digital game key code or just a physical disc?
I dont usually order through links but you've more than earned it, just ordered my copy with your link. All the best! Can't wait for this new version and for you to share it with us!
Man, i hope they do more realistic ground, traction etc.
i like those mods where you almost feel the tractor struggling
I live in Thailand, surrounded by rice fields. I am hoping that they have the type of machinery I see around here, but I am not really sure that it they will be, as some of them look to be home built.
i wonder how long it takes before we get mods with those crazy custom rice field machines with turbos, neon and speakers 😄
@MrVein5.0 if I had a clue on how to do 3D modeling, I would already be working on it! I have plenty of sample machinery in the area! 😋😋
Same, live in Thailand as well. Be fun if modders do the needful for rice field drag racing like they do in Isaan.
@wd1721 if they do the models, I can do the tweaking!
first fs in a long time where i will start on console gonna be playing this a bunch in college while i become a pilot!
do ypu go to farm con ? so cant wait for this looks so good im 100% live streaming ever day when this is released
That trailer so good i was moaning
I hope with the ground deformation they integrate soil compaction.
(I know crop destruction is a thing) but the more you work a field you should see on a map (like soil type) the compaction rate.. effecting growth and drill-ability.
Integrate tyre pressures etc
I hope they do it correctly and have proper dynamic ground and water levels to flood rice. It is definitely possible considering there is a new engine version for the game. However, I expect rice fields will be placeables like with grapes and olives and the "dynamic" ground will be nothing more then texture with the actual model and way vehicles move on it not changing.
The cable on the xerion is connected to the Frame to pull it from the Front, there is no winch on the xerion
Hope we still have seasons and precision farming style field managment.
0:15 new crops: coca leaves for crack production 🤣
Looks great, fingers crossed it will stay on Game Pass 🤞
The stars aline sounds like some sort of story mode
I think for the fourth DLC it will JCB
Dagger i can't wait for to play this game
Perhaps the pump is to adjust (ground?) Water levels, i.e. you need to regulate moisture
So pleased and happy to finally see some Asian maps and crops 🎊💃☕🌺
