  • Let’s take a look at an epic Chinese street altercation between a man parking his car and a delivery man driving an electric scooter.
    What follows is a showdown of capoeira, breakdancing, nunchucks, no touch chi blasts, and vehicular infiltration.
    The streets of Shanghai are a truly fascinating place.

    The delivery guy did a speed run of his favorite Tekken characters, first Leroy Smith and then Eddy Gordo then Marshall Law, the guy in the car wanted to get out of there before he did the Devil Jin transformation. Truly the king of iron first,.

  • @aexndr387
    @aexndr387 3 місяці тому +1

    Ramsey! I got an idea for the ufc and would love to hear your thoughts. Imagine adding another weight class called "all weights" or something, where it's basically not a weight class. You could have 125lb guys fighting 7'3" 600 lb people if they sign for it. Basically instead of getting rid of weight classes, adding a new one instead, so that instead of "heavyweight champion of the world" being the supreme title, it would be "all weight champion of the world". How would this change things?

    • @Xzontyr
      @Xzontyr 3 місяці тому

      Hey there Aex. Wild ideas, but it may just be a repeat of UFC 1. A few smaller guys did well like Marco Ruas, against larger guys like Varlens, but in today's world, where all of the fighters would of had to be trained, and for the most part, proved their training through making it up in the ranks, alot of heavier guys would know how to use their weight, and would probably for the most part cut through the smaller guys like soft butter. There is always a punchers chance I suppose. I'm not sure what to think of some of these fights going on as of late, where they have two light weights going against a super heavy weight. Can't think of his name, but that one famous strong man recently competed in one, and dipped those two fries pretty easily with one hand basically. Sure it's a spectacle, but I'm not really for it. Or where they have a man going against 2 women. Just not my thing. I did security at night clubs long enough to know how that goes even for the untrained. My youtube feed finds all sorts of odd stuff like that. I really wouldn't doubt there is a league that still allows open weight competition. It just might not be as big, or attract the most mentally, and physically able fighters. I'm a big guy myself, but i take no pride in putting a "big" guy that thinks he's tough in his place. Allt of big bullies out there, that are use to just squashing and clubbing guys with their tools being nothing but weight, and slow meat clubs. It's a real wake up call when they go against another big guy that knows how to box. That's a real wake up call for them. Eddie Hall. That's his name. He recently popcorned some guys in a 2 on one match up.

    • @RamseyDewey
      @RamseyDewey  3 місяці тому +1

      An ankle pick is something a little different- attacking the ankle when it’s on the ground. I have several tutorials on various ankle picks if you want to learn it. Or check out Cael Sanderson’s wrestling career. I can’t think of anyone better at ankle picks than he was.
      The golf swing is a single leg finish for when you already have the leg, it’s elevated, your opponent’s captured leg is straightened out, usually by your opponent’s attempt to move away from you in an effort to escape.
      You might notice Poirier not only straightened his own leg by moving backwards facilitating the golf swing, but he also tried to spin out of it, which (1) made the landing a lot harder than it should have been, and (2) caused him to land with his head right next to Islam, this fascinating the D’arce choke finish.

This comes from a recent experience I had with one of the students from the gym where I train, he is already known for hurting people in sparring and no one likes to spar him, and in the last sparring session I was going light and was able to press him against the cage and just throw very very light punches barely touching him, when out of nowhere he just kicked me in the face as hard as he could, leaving a big cut inside my cheek and knocking me down, dont want to spar him again but also dont know how to deal with him if ai need to

    Hello Ramsey, i hope you are doing ok and geting stronger. Could you do a live(as in not seeing the full clip before commenting) commentary of the fight between a fat guy and 2 girl fighters in the cage? It was a big fighting gala in romania, this is their official youtube m.ua-cam.com/video/lQllTuPzOXU/v-deo.html

      @@RamseyDewey exactly, it exists to show everyone that this should never happen. I think the biggest surprise was that they were actually fighting, someone said the girls looked very beat up so i didnt want to look at post fight interviews.
      But, my question is: Do you this is a reaction to "modern politics"? Or would it have happened naturally? I fear we will see many more cases like this because the stronger a modern curent is, the stronger the blacklash will be.
      Also, as a bit of humor: did the girls realise they were going to be hit very hard when they were given the protective gear?( i guess its the second question so you dont have to reply).
      Thanks for answering, i have been following you for such a long time that sometimes i feel like you already retreated to a mountain cliff to write your memories

    ... The delivery boy has proven that breakdance is one of the most effective martial arts, and the car guy showed Usain Bolt is one of the best martial artists of History.
    And now, get out of here and practice your sprinting and dancing.

    Its really dangerous to open your door especially if you are parking next to the street. PLUS do you see where the car is paked? he isn't even parked properly so the delivery guy doesnt even expect that someone in that position will open the door

    great video coach 😂😂 yesterday i was thinking to ask you two things 1) What do you think of Alex Caceres "Bruce Leeroy" (his style, record, etc.) 2) do you like judo? What do you think of the modern judo competition rules? Do you consider it a combat sport today? Sorry if you don't understand some of the questions, I use Google Translator. Love from Argentina❤

    As you're a member of the Latter Day Saints Church, I'm aware that a part of your faith keeps you from consuming anything that's of an unnatural nature, such as alchohol or caffine. I now personally think it's a practice more people should get into, being someone who indulged in those terrible potions for some time. Some guys that train and coach are obsessed with the idea of throwing every supplement at a guy in the book and getting as money work hours in as possible. If i was a pro fighter, maybe i'd take it a bit more seriously, but recently i'v been training for just a small, almost private, organized tussel. Yet iv completely had enough of some peoples suggestions and interferance. To the point where i'v pushed them away, and i honestly just want to be alone for a while. We were never like this. To keep it short and simple, i was taking a lot of different stuff for a while, and it seemed to just get worse and worse. To the point where i wasn't even feeling myself, and i refused to be some sort of universal soldier science experiment or something. That can't be healthy for a person. So I put a wall up in front of all of it. No more caffine, no more ridiculous amounts of b12, that i'm pretty certain are still stored in my liver anyway. No more uppers, no more downers to try and sleep and couner the uppers, no more handfuls of supplements, im not even taking the protein powder anymore. Most ironic thing about all of it, is that they want to see me push progress, but than at the same time, it seems like its for nothing, because for atleast one day on the weekend, they still want to indulge and have fun, which drags a bunch of unhealthy bs with it. I'm just sick of it, and i never thought it had to be this way. It's too much of a modern, marketed fad for grown men to act like idiots and buy products that are nothing but a trap. It's just marketed poison. It may have its uses, but i don't believe it should be depended on or abused the way it is by some people. I'm just sick of it, and i think myself and others should be ashamed for how bad it's gotten. I want to walk away from it, and if it means walking away from friends, then so be it. Lots of other training partners out there. It's just really sad. I wish it didn't have to be this way. I'v brought it up to why can't grown men just be sober? Why does it need to be some sort of ritual to always include a bunch of poison to socialize. I'm just done with it. I'm so sick of everything it's brought into my life, and the time and health it's taken away. I guess i'll see who my real friends are from it by placing his sort of filter up. As a good saying goes, "it's better to travel alone, then in rouges company." The oculatum is a good book. Im still going to train and do the event coming up next month, i'm not giving up on that, but if i have to pull Akuma and start walking alone and training alone, and talking to Wilson's than so be it. I'v been the crazy guy caught training in the bush by himself before, i'll do it again if i have to. There actually hasn't been any training in the gym we had going because we had a heavy rain a few days back, and the sum pump they had there burnt out, so it flooded. Thankfully, every electrical outlet was up high, but the foam mats were floating like a raft and everything, so that all had to get taken apart. It was not a fun time. Than the one guy brought his cat with him, because him and his girlfriend just broke up, and shes still taking some of her stuff, so he's worried that she's going to take his cat to if he leaves him there, so he brings the cat with him. I like cats, im ok with them, but this darn animal went and decided to make a spot of the cement floor for some odd reason. Hes fixed and everything, but i guess it's a thing for some of them when they smell wet concrete or cement. So there's that issue to. I'm pretty sure the land owner has just about enough of everything. That smell haunts a place like a ghost. i swear you need an exorcist to get rid of it. When the science of modern cleaning products can't combat it, it is truly a testament of God that there is purpose behind that smell. If i had a walled city, and there was peace in the land, but the enemy came over the ocean, with a plan to encamp on the beach before the city. I would seriously just release a barage of rodents onto the beach, followed by a horde of cats. Before the enemy landed on the beach, i would retract the cats with the largest treats bag known to man. Once the enemy was beached, i am almost certain they would retreat, not wanting to tolerate the foul smell of the land. Takes me a while sometimes to realize how off point i'v gone. So anyways, in context, this all relates back to a fairly simple question. The abstanance of many consumables is an essential thing for a healthy mind and body, and i'm in the firm belief that any are only their for market. Being an MMA coach and a member of the LDS Church, i'm wondering what your stance is Ramsey on supplements and such. What do you see as acceptable? I apologize for the rant. Probably one of the strangest ones you had apart from Mr. Browns, and i know this ventured off a bit. I was going to edit it out, but maybe others might come across it and question their own intake. I am, however, genuinely curious about your opinion and tolerance of supplementation.
