The man on the left is clearly not at the level of educating pp on this channel. First of all, he said “there are two types of English”, which is a really stupid statement that just shows ur narrow understanding of the world. Australia, Canada, Singapore... u name it, there are so many other countries that speak English as first language, each has their own accent and “slang/ culture” attached. Secondly, when he said “we all know the dirty version”? Do u?? Really? Go actually learn some stuff behind the “accent”, which is something u would only care about after u have mastered the language as a tool.

You're right, there are lots of different variants of English, including dialects, accents, pidgins, but seeing as this is actually filmed for Chinese students here in China, it's kind of accepted that students choose to study either British English or American English. No one in China is studying Singaporean English, and as far as I'm aware, you can't buy a textbook on that. But maybe there's a gap in the market. Anyway, sorry if we were too vague on the subject; we'll try to be more thorough in the future.
No, he's referring to the 2 forms of written English. British and American English has different/distinct spelling conventions and grammar rules. I would't consider countries with another accents as a "type" of English.
Australian English is pretty much equivalent to British English and Canadian English is pretty much like something in between American and British English. Be real here, no one is going to learn Singaporean English, would an American learn Singaporean Chinese? There are two types of English that are well accepted by the public, which are American and British, and only one proper English which is British.
