THAILAND! Big Buddha & Wat Chalong! Amazing Experiences Or Over Hyped Tourist Traps!?

Big Buddha and Wat Chalong are two of the most famous sites you can visit on the island of Phuket. Big Buddha was completed in 2014, and sits 400m above sea level, offering stunning views across the island and overlooking popular destinations such as Karon and Kata Beach.
Wat Chalong is another of Phukets most famous religious sites, with the beautiful temples open to the public. Wat Chalong also boasts to be in possession of the remains of Buddha himself and these also on display to the public! But surely with heavy tourism comes tourist traps right? Surely these experiences cost? Or are they truly genuine and incredible experiences not to missed when travelling to this beautiful island?
