This is really helpful actually because I never had an anime husbando before , and I thought I'd try it just to be funny, and I had nothing better to do to relieve school stress, betrayal by a partner and struggling with an eating disorder. It ended up biting me in the ass, I fell hard, and now I know what to expect. I now eat sleep and breathe this person....or my idea of this person. ..actually, being soaked in all this oxytocin seems to be relieving my GAD and helping me eat ! Could be worse, and it makes my tedious, dissatisfying life so much more interesting, and inspires my art and writing. I've had real relationships, but got burned by them. I just need a break from that. My husbando will not betray me or lie to me or have substance abuse problems or threaten me or fail me in any way. He will be whoever and whatever I project onto him. He'll be there when I need him and not there when I need space. He won't begrudge me other lovers or husbandos. He is me giving me what I need at the moment. Yes, it's embarassing, and I wouldn't share it with just anybody, especially not my family lol, but it's making me happier than I was before. Why do I feel this on so many levels? Though I did have an relationship already, which didn't work, and children, I still go back to the same guy over and over. He is like my comfort zone? I don't know. If something dramatic happens or trauma related or just need company, just something hard to deal, I always go back to that one character which is Dante from Devil May Cry. This is really helpful actually because I never had an anime husbando before , and I thought I'd try it just to be funny, and I had nothing better to do to relieve school stress, betrayal by a partner and struggling with an eating disorder. It ended up biting me in the ass, I fell hard, and now I know what to expect. I now eat sleep and breathe this person....or my idea of this person. ..actually, being soaked in all this oxytocin seems to be relieving my GAD and helping me eat ! Could be worse, and it makes my tedious, dissatisfying life so much more interesting, and inspires my art and writing.
I've had real relationships, but got burned by them. I just need a break from that. My husbando will not betray me or lie to me or have substance abuse problems or threaten me or fail me in any way. He will be whoever and whatever I project onto him. He'll be there when I need him and not there when I need space. He won't begrudge me other lovers or husbandos. He is me giving me what I need at the moment.
Yes, it's embarassing, and I wouldn't share it with just anybody, especially not my family lol, but it's making me happier than I was before. I think there is a fine line between this being the ultimate act of sef-love and it becoming a painful and harmful obsession. I need to walk it carefully.
