Hi cliff. You can find a Service Manual on Google in the Service manual the back bearing is a 32006 xc/p6 and the front bearing is a 32007 xc/p6 From Brian
Cliff, I can't remember which way the spindle bearings came out, I'm sure I removed the adjuster from the rear and knocked the spindle through. They are taper rollers, so the outers stay in the housing until you extract them. The little bearing covers with the three screws are very fragile, Mazak I think. Thanks for plugging my video, I'm not sure it was that good! REME? RAF! Is that better or worse?! Best wishes, Dean.
@@CliffsShed it happens to me more and more Cliff. Must be age! A 'bodge' for the loose key could be a stepped key, to take up the slack in the pulley. Best wishes, Dean.
Heavens what happened to cause all that smoke? I have one of these lathes, its my favorite machine and I've never stripped it so Im following with interest should I ever have too.
That's what I did - and made it larger to take a stepped key (set the lathe up like a shaper to manually cut the keyway). It soon wears again though. If I had a spare gear I'd think about setting it up to use a tapered pin.
Cliff, the easiest solution is a stepped key. I've used this technique a couple of times over the years. Good to see you're making progress.
Good steady progress Cliff, thanks for the update 👍👍
You are well organized and methodical,Cliff. One thing at the time.Thank you.
Looking good Cliff, your doing a great job

Could you drill and tap the toothed belt drive pulley and put a grubscrew onto the key to tighten up the whole assembly? Good Progress Cliff!
Phil
Amazing to watch 👍

It’s gonna be good 👍
Can you cut or file a new keyway slot in another position on the pulley Cliff ?
