Its been a while since I have photographed my own family besides some random iphone shots, your videos always inspire and remind me to keep doing it. Thanks, Matt. Good luck to Molly with her next marathon.
Matt, I have watched your videos for years now. Always great stuff. Currently own Rolleiflex 2.8E, Rollei 35T, Leica M5 with Nocton 35mm and 50mm lenses. The new Mint Rollei 35AF is on the way. Just starting to develop in my new AGO. And coming from a motorcycle rider; GET THE BIKE! So much fun. It doesn't have to be expensive (it *can be*, but doesn't need to be).
Wish luck to your wife with marathon. I ran all of my life and did a lot of marathons and ultra, but not official. This september was first time when I have ran official marathon (Buenos Aires Marathon) and it's the point if compare with just running. And so cool to see she is running with kid (I have not kids, but when I will... I already take a look for the nice running stroller)
I love my Voigtlander glass. All my cameras have been sitting for five months. Texas heat just takes it out of me. Luckily it's only gonna be 97F on OCT 1 here in Austin. Fall, ya'll! I gotta get Chillicothe way this spring. Lots of family there.
Go Molly! She's got this. Dirt-bikes are awesome. Grew op with them. So good to see you shooting film Matt. Also good to see you and Molly taking some time away from the kids together which is so important. Great episode Matt!
Coincidentally I had the same issue with my M6 and went it in for a CLA as well. I just got it back this week and I’m looking to using it this weekend!
Since you are now properly hooked on rotary processing, perhaps you should give the JOBO ALPHA developer a try. It is specifically designed for rotary processing and although, I have only processed a single 120 roll of HP5 Plus with so far, I was really impressed with the tonaility and grain produced.
Gosh this makes me just wanna sell my m11 and stick to the m6. Love the m11 but film just beats its out everyday. Also those nokton images look soo good
Awesome to see your M6 being back and also on the channel again :) But did I miss something? Is your M11 temporary gone or did you sell it (again 😉) Also curious about your upcoming 35 ultron video compared your previews 35mm lenses (thought you still have the king of bokeh v4). Keep up your great work and greetings from Germany :)
I was just going to put up a comment saying Bryan Birks was talking about access to private land in a recent video and Lo and Behold there he is pinned below!
Good old days was my m6 with tri x shot at 200 iso developed at home in d76 1:1. And then printed on my focomat 2c. Digital leads to cheating , yup digital manipulation ..
Please don’t get a motorcycle. Just in my small circle 1 has died, another shattered his leg and internal organ damage, another broke his neck, back, pelvis, shoulder + ligaments, and ankle + ligaments. It’s all fun til something happens. Then people mourn you or are forced to bend their life to care for you. You have 3 kids. Think about them. I know I’ll probably catch shit for it, but motorcycles are an incredibly selfish hobby because the results likely cost other people you love the most.
Film is great but when I hear dumping chemicals in the sink, I feel bad. I really think those times should be over. Please take care of our beautiful world.
caffenol, XTOL and its clones are probably among the safest commercial developers to use, for the environment. Pretty sure Dektol is okay as well. Fixer might be a different issue though as that contains the silver from the negatives but there’s ways around that too
Attention campers…lunch has been cancelled, due to lack of hustle. Deal with it.
Big jugs….Molly. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Epic! 😅
I thought the same thing lol

Looking sharp, Mr. Day 😎 stoked to see you having so much fun making photographs!
How dare this only be 10 minutes long?
Can this be a feature film?
2 Hours of Matt showing photos of life? Yes plz

Where’d you get yours CLA’d?
@@keanureyes4762 I did it at YYeCAMERA with Youxin. It was a great experience.
The Molly joke was a grade A zinger, bravo sir.
" I went to your hood and nobody knew you " lmfao

The M6. ❤
Jugs joke made me think of that scene in austin powers lol
back with 35mm Ultron? cool Matt!!!
Get a motorcycle!! Do it. Motorcycling changed my life.
Hi Matt, I am wondering which developer you use? Your negatives look crisp…
Great video as always and wonderful images. Good you are able to shoot film again. Did you get rid of the M11 monochrome?
More!
Nice video and pictures 😊
Do you still rate the hp5 at usual 1600 or a mixed rolls from 400 to 1600? :)
Grab an e-bike! Could give you the off road capabilities you’re looking for without the dangers or headaches of a motorcycle.
booooo
That jugs joke 👌🏻

Which Nocton version is this? ❤
Nice Matt!
Would have been nice to see your entire frames. The 235 aspect felt too tight.

I'm on.a septic tank system... can't pour anything down my drain. A shame.
