if u still reading replies on this and play the game AND still are not confident enough to use actual guns ingame i say use weapons that are reletivly easy to scavenge and use them until you get confident enough to bring other guns in

Just so you know, if you die, anything you FiR is no longer FiR. That means if u gamma and then die, you cant use it for quests or sell on flea.

2:08 is such a clean example of surrounding awareness and confidence, I would have panic'ed a little just to look right as the guy was trying to flank, but Shroud knew that there's a fence there and he's safe with the van inbetween, so the player was very likely going to run back, so he just sat on him knowing he'd be there after he learns that he can't flank that far around, then domed him accordingly.

tbh you could flip your reloads, having the retention load be "ctrl-r" and the dump reload just be "r"
I think the way I hold my mouse is the most optimal by far... I use the index finger on my left hand for the left click, the index finger on my right hand for the right click, and just smash my face against the keyboard for movement. it takes a lot of skill but once you get the hang of it you'll see how much of a difference it makes :-)

normal people: Tarkov is a pretty hard game, i want to take all the advantages i can get in a raid.
Shroud: lets take the new SMG onto woods.
To be fair if someone hammers rounds at you and the rock you are behind while wearing the tin helmet then you probably will think twice before peaking so fast, but yeah woods is not the best for that fun ass gun.

i feel like when bsg add that persistence universe thing and their original vision for this game it could help bring back the gear fear and the feeling of being a new player that makes this game fun again
To be fair, gear fear is just a mistake that people need to get over, it stops people doing things because they may lose that macarov the game gave them at wipe.

Shroud gets a marked key and finds a gas analyzer in one raid while it takes all day for me to find a single gas analyzer.

It really isn't that hard to figure out your own settings. Jump into an offline raid and play with it there till you find something that you like.

What are these graphic settings? No matter how hard I try to make my EFT look clean, it always ends up looking potato. Does anyone know?
Make sure you mess around with PostFX. makes the game look a lot better imo
A higher resolution helps as well, but not everyone has 1440p and 4K monitors. I have a 1440p monitor, but cant run the game at native res with good framerates.
I've noticed that it's easier to see enemies with a higher resolution. Anything lower than 1080p and it's a pixelated mess. Tarkov is the only game I know that gets harder to see with lower resolutions.
Every game is like that of course, but Tarkov seems worse in comparison.

I hold my mouse so that my thumb and third finger grip either side, the padding of my pam just under my thumb barely touches the mouse and then the pointer on lmb and middle on rmb. I do not rest my palm fully on the mouse, more like gripping it.
PPSH is probably the coolest russian weapon. Its like a slav thompson
