Fantastic. I never liked this song much but it is just so much more exciting now. Tarja is so on point. Her chest voice is amazing on those low notes and the chorus is fantastic in the majestic head voice. Awesome crowd too. A little addendum regarding the footwear. Those must be the shortest heels she has ever worn on stage. Wonder if her podiatrist is the reason for the change ;)
She mastered chest voice with an exquisite dark colour, her head voice has always been beautiful, but she struggled very hard when she tried transitions between chest/head voice (mix voice) in the past and she has a total domain over that area now too. I have always liked her voice, but now she sounds so much mature and confident. I'm so glad for her because I can feel she has finally found the balance and the boundaries of her voice sounding better than ever!!!
@@seawind3025 I think many times, it is not lack of control. You can see she has it when she wants to. Sometimes, she just does not worry that much about sounding perfect. For better or worse.
@@LigeiaNoire Yes! It's Rock n Roll, it's about fun (without sounding like a cat about to fall over water) and she effort a lot on classical concerts and christmas concerts. I think that crownd appraise more Tarja getting fun, dancing and talking to the attendence that singing perfectly. I think. Saludos!
How could anyone not love this Gary Moore classic. Listen to Gary Moore perform it from his Live at Montreux 2010 concert. It's originally on his Wild Frontier studio record. Tarja's guitar player doesn't even know how to play it.
