  • The most catastrophic failure that can occur, and unfortunately the most common, is that a wedgelock embedded computing module can have at least a few different types of mechanical failures which can cause a deployed embedded computing module to become jammed inside the deployed environment and that which cannot be easily extracted from the system, which could jeopardize or completely incapacitate your critical embedded system during mission sets for the end-user. Several years of real world feedback from customers has led WaveTherm to highlight this key design implication, and the impact it could have on customers’ ability to deploy reliable embedded systems.
