Description: An introductory webinar in which the speakers explore and present ideas about the mainstream human development approaches in the modern consumerist society and the current ecological situation. Also, important links with the following webinars will be made.
“Moving Beyond Summit” is an online event, which intends to be a stone placed at the foundation of a mature, authentic and sustainable society. The Summit is a space for learning and discovery, where ideas and concepts about holistic human development, nature based learning, positive psychology are explored and integrated. A space where connections are made and resources are shared, where inspiration and empowerment are infused with practical activities which can support those who attend the event, in becoming more competent and resilient beings.
About the speakers:
Bogdan Romanică, from Romania, is a nature based human development guide, trained with the Animas Valley Institute from USA (organization founded by Bill Plotkin). At the same time, he is an international trainer in the youth field, mentor and facilitator. He is in service of Soul, Earth and Great Mystery by guiding people in immersions in the natural world and the realms of psyche. Born in Romania, he is utterly in love with the Carpathian Mountains and the forests that spread not far from his city, Cluj-Napoca.
Eleni Michail, from Cyprus, loves old trees, sunrises and singing. She loves to immerse herself into mountains and valleys and to initiate deep conversations with the beings around (children, elders, insects, birds, water, Earth, Moon). Eleni is an educator passionate about inspiring change and supporting people to tune into their authenticity and lead meaningful lives. She believes that every person is uniquely gifted and wonder-ful. Through her work she dedicatedly creates a space in which people can reconnect with their inner wisdom, as well as the wisdom of the Earth.
Ognian Gadoularov, from Bulgaria, is an educator and facilitator of personal development. His passions are nature, wild forests, rock cliffs and wildlife. He is a veterinarian by profession, but has been working in the field of non-formal learning and outdoor education for 11 years. Ognian supports youth and adults to unfold their full potential in life and discover themselves. His contribution to the Great Turning of our time is offering programs for personal growth and transformation, self-exploration, responsible consumption, sustainability and environmental rights.

The Summit is part of the project “MOVING BEYOND - innovative learning tools for personal and professional development of youth”. The project is developed in order to promote quality youth work, to foster social inclusion and promote the empowerment of young people.
