Hung Sing Choy Lee Fut (1980)Hung Gar Kuen, my main style 🥰always heard good/ bad thing about Wong Doc Fai Sifu! Figured that they just jealous! Never got a chance to train w/ him! I’m 68 now 😬
I had a run in with one of Docs students and let me tell you, he was the rudest most arrogant person I ever met, I had a mantis master in califorina tell me, "its how his master raised him". I truly hope you found a good home in kungfu world. You have the pure kungfu heart I can tell..Amitoufo
Life is too short.As I am approaching 60 I have realized that these 'masters' are often just a little bit insecure. If you don't tow the party line your Kung Fu is suddenly all wrong and you become the cause of all the problems in the school,untill the next person comes along.The different Choy Lee Fut schools are riddled with it.Im inspired to wait and do another style after nearly a quarter of a century of learning.

Niel said he persuaded Doc-Fai Wong to take him to Chan Sun Chiu back in 2008, and Niel spent 11 days with him learning from him. There are pictures of him with Chan Sun Chiu, including with Niel standing behind him as students traditionally stand behind their teacher. He was supposed to go back for further teaching but didn't before Chan Sun Chiu died. I think it just about qualifies him as Chan Sun Chiu's student, but it's a bit tenuous really. Less tenuous than Doc-Fai Wong's claim that Lau Bun was his teacher I think. I don't get UA-cam and comments. The long one you posted I can't see, and the things at the top says three comments, but I can only see this one and your first one. I keep seeing that, more comments listed than I can see. It's a bit strange and quite annoying. It's occurred on a few other of my videos.
@Joseph Snodgrass You mean Niel Willcott does not know the original? I was a comment on one of this videos to that effect. Niel mostly learned form Doc-Fai Wong and as a beginner from Richard Papworth who Niel says was a student of Lee Koon, a Buk Sing teacher. I don't know who Niel learned his Five Wheel Horse from, and if he got it from Doc-Fai Wong, well it's hard to say, where he gets his forms from is a bit of a mystery.
So sorry this was your Gongfu experience. I understand your first words of this video very well and it should be that; "I just want to learn Kungfu". The masters of this world, the majority of them especially here in the West, are drama queens.
